The Creative Corner Link Up Party & Weekly Recap – 07/03/16

Every week I like to share a little recap of my week at the start of this party:

Last week we took a trip about 4 hours away in our home state of Missouri to the Big Cedar Lodge. The Big Cedar Lodge is owned by Bass Pro Shops and is in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We had SO much fun and saw a lot of wild life out there.



The first night we had Mexican at the Top of the Rock and it was DELICIOUS. We got the mango guacamole and I would get it again… They also give you two different kinds of salsa with a pot of chips. SO good (especially with the margarita!). On our first full day we took a riverboat cruise on the Branson Belle and did lunch on the boat with a Princess/Pirate theme. The kids had a lot of fun and it was neat to see all of the kids on the ship dressed up!


I was excited that they had a 5k trail on property! Nathan and I ran it TWICE and he did so good for all of the hills! We also went inside a cave with a golf cart at the Top of the Rock and there was a BAR!



Here is a photo of Brian at dinner one night. We went to Silver Dollar City one day, but I didn’t get a lot of photos… probably because we were all SO hot! But, the kids cooperated for this photo of them with their heads in the stocks. Don’t worry, they still have their heads. 😉



Here is a photo of me and Autumn, isn’t her short hair the cutest? And, I got in a full body massage and it was the BEST treat to myself. I even got to swim in their hot grotto pool and enjoy some time in the ice room. I don’t know why I don’t get massages more often.
