Today I celebrated Mother’s Day with my parents, brother and his new wife. We always eat at Blue Owl in Kimmswick, Missouri for Mother’s Day. The Blue Owl has wonderful homestyle cooking and a huge selection of homemade desserts. There are also crafty shops up and down the street surrounding the Blue Owl restaurant.
The Blue Owl gathers quite the crowd on Mother’s Day. Luckily, we had reservations and were seated instantly!
There is a lot of unique trinkets and antiques (most of them being owls) on the walls of the restaurant.
Nathan was dipping his crackers in butter. How odd I must say… heheh
Autumn was a little ray of sunshine even though I forgot the nipple for her bottle I pumped this morning. I also started her on sweet potatoes yesterday and she loves them! It was nice to have something to feed to her to keep her happy during brunch. It just seems everything is easier the second time around with this Mommy thing.
Here I am with Audie. She kept grabbing things off the table and she loved crumbling this piece of paper. I looked so blah today… She has been waking up for the day at 4am for the last week!!!!! She usually sleeps in till 5:30am. Jeremi watched her a little so I could take an hour nap but its hard because Nathan was up then and he can be loud 😉 I hope its just her 6 month growth spurt!

Just me and the kids… I love Autumn’s stance here

Isn’t this card cute? Besides the cupcakes Jeremi did get me the other 3 Twilight books, the Twilight movie and 30 Day Shred DVD from the Biggest Loser (want to get rid of my muffin top, ughhh) Love you, Jerms! (He reads this)
Also, last night my brother and his wife had their after-wedding party (they got married in Vegas last month) and tomorrow I will be blogging about that with photos! Tonight I need to sneak downstairs to wrap more of Nathan’s birthday gifts for next weekend.
