Where has time gone? I cannot believe in two more months, we will be singing Happy Birthday to Little Miss Auttie. Autumn is really starting to unveil her personality to us and boy does it have some spunk to it! I thought for sure Autumn would have been walking by now as she has been crawling since 8 months, but she is getting along just fine and is starting to stand up on her own without holding onto anything. She loves plugs and cords, which is not good, but what is funny is my brother used to love plugs and cords as a child. This girl is long and lean but she can out eat her brother and LOVES food. Do not take her plate away or you will have her in hysterics, yes, even if the plate is empty, DO not take it away as she is hoping there is more to come. Lately, Autumn loves to crawl to the front door and then stands up to wave bye-bye to Grandma and pa with Nathan when they leave after Mommy gets home from work. Autumn has a love and hate relationship with her brother in that she always wants his toys or wants to see what he is up to, but Nathan does not like to share and will slam the door shut on the Peak a Boo tent and say ‘ITS CLOSED’ (I think because we tell him the train store is closed when he asks to go there a million times a day! haha!) and he also loves to turn the switch to OFF on any toy she grabs. Poor Autumn, but seriously, this reminds me of what my brother used to do to me, so I seceretly hope she learns quickly to stand up to her big brother! Hee, hee!!
And, Autumn’s latest development…
not surprising to me in the least…
Autumn is using a spoon! Seriously, this girl loves to eat… and if a spoon helps her pile food in her mouth faster then Mommy can- then give her the spoon! She is eating Grandma’s mashed potatoes.
Nathan eating one of Autumn’s toys while he SHOULD have been eating dinner… SIGH… 3 year olds!!
