Jeremi’s birthday is not until tomorrow… but, my mom, the kids and myself were very busy with preparations…
I had a fantastic idea of putting cupcakes in the shape of a 3 and a 1 on the table to spell out ’31’. Since I work during the day, my mom was so sweet and baked the cupcakes for me. Then when I got home from work, I iced and sprinkled them and Nathan helped me put them on the table in the shape of a 3 and 1. He was a big help! Then, we added candles and I lit them all… Of course, I was telling my friend Cammie that I work with about my great idea, and she asked me if I was doing 31 actual cupcakes? I was like, Umm, no. Of course, I was like, oh shoot, I should have done 31 actual cupcakes! I told her now I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about how I would only have 24 cupcakes (well, however many were left after some were eaten)… Drats!!! But… amazingly enough, Jeremi didn’t even notice there weren’t 31 cupcakes and just noticed the shape! Bingo! Isn’t it pretty with the lights out? Nathan and I yelled “SURPRISE” when Jeremi walked in the door!

And… I have proof! THIS girl will EAT ANYTHING! Seriously, I give her a cupcake thinking she will pull the candle off? Sure, she pulled it off, and instead of digging into the yummy icing, no… no… she goes for the candle first?! Umm, Autumn, the icing will be MUCH better… trust me! She got QUITE mad when Mommy took that candle out of her mouth, too! Sigh… 15 mo. olds!!!!
