Every year I have so much fun putting together the kids Easter baskets. I accumulate things throughout the entire year for them, and usually by the time Easter rolls around– I have a basket full of things. For example, I was at the gas station today, and I saw glow in the dark gummy worms in the candy aisle. They come with a pair of tweezers that light up, therefore it ‘looks’ like the worm is lighting up when you take it out of the wrapper. Nathan is going to love it, he is so fascinated by worms right now. The cashier told me her kids love them. So, hopefully they will enjoy their baskets as much as I enjoyed putting them together.
Nathan’s basket. Nathan’s big on money so I got him a book from Scholastic about a group of bunnies that want to buy their Mom a hat. It comes with stickers and teaches about counting money. Also, he LOVES band aids and play dough right now, too.
Autumn’s basket. I always get her a cute little (cheap) purse from the Target $1 spot. Also got a neat book from Scholastic about Easter eggs and all of the different colors you can dye them. She is really into learning her colors right now.
