Today I took the kids to Lowes again for their Build and Grow program. Nathan is REALLY into going to these right now, so I have been trying to make sure we go to as many as possible. This week the kids built a school locker, and the next two activities in the next month are a police car AND a firetruck! WOW!
Even Autumn really enjoys going, she helps me finish hammering the nails in, and her favorite part is usually decorating with the stickers.
This time there was an added bonus for Auttie, the locker had a CHALKBOARD! Whooo-weeee! She was really happy to practice her scribbles on it.
Here is Nathan with the two finished lockers. Isn’t it neat how the piece of chalk goes in the combination lock hole?
Nathan wrote his name on the chalkboard, of course!
My two cuties with their finished pieces. Autumn was a little upset because they started cutting some wood nearby, and the noise was a little loud for her! Luckily, that was at the very end!
And, of course, another patch for their aprons! I already have them sewed on. :o)-
