Pinterest is one of my favorite sites right now. You see all these thumbnails of different crafts, recipes, home decor, etc. and it allows you to ‘pin’ the ideas into folders so you can retrieve the ideas later. LOVE this site. Last week I needed to make a dessert for a Chili Cook Off at my work and decided to try out my FIRST Pinterest recipe. I was just beyond thrilled. Here are the ingredients I used to make a SMORES PIE!
Preheat oven to 350 and spray a pie dish with cooking spray. Then mix the sugar and melted butter together until well combined.
Add vanilla, and egg
Turn mixer on slow, and slowly add the graham cracker crumbs
Divide the dough in half
Press half of the dough into the bottom of the pie plate
Evenly spread the Marshmallow Creme over the bottom crust
Now spread the broken chocolate pieces on top of the Marshmallow Creme
Carefully pell the top piece of wax paper off.
Flip the crust onto the top of the pie and peel the other piece of wax paper off.
Pinch the dough together to form the crust.
Bake 20 minutes until lightly browned.
I took the dessert to work so I only had a couple of small pieces I brought back home. Here is one of them. Yum!
