Every year I fill the kids Halloween buckets with little goodies I have collected from the months leading up to Halloween. I decided this year to give the kids their Halloween buckets earlier (I usually wait until the night of Halloween), because Halloween is just crazy exciting as it is… I figured the best time to do it would be on the weekend, and the weekend we carved pumpkins (since this year, I got them both carving kits!). Here is Nathan’s bucket.
Closeup of Nathan’s goodies… here is what he got (if I can remember it all):
Riverside Sweets Orange Chocolate Pumpkin pop
Riverside Sweets Semi-Sour Gummy Pumpkins
Riverside Sweets Candy Corn Taffy
Russel Stover Smores
Energizer Flashlight that is a flashlight, but it also has a glow stick that glows or flashes (got this at Cabelas!)
Massive Foam Glow stick (Target) – saving this for Halloween night
Lego Skeleton figure
Yu-gi-oh Cards – the Dragon pack (These are HOT right now at Nathan’s school, the boys trade them at recess)
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory DVD (the original) – saving this for our upcoming movie night!!
Star Wars Craving Kit
Autumn’s bucket. I went el cheapo on the buckets this year, just because I wasn’t crazy about the Star Wars buckets… So, Princess Leia will be sporting a hot pink pumpkin bucket this year!

I had their buckets waiting for them on the table on Sunday morning. Nathan was so excited to see the Yu-gi-oh Cards.
OF course, I made them sit on the couch with their buckets so I could take a picture before I’d let them get into them. Ha!!
