We decided to do photos before the ceremony at Lafayette Park, a very old park that is very close to the ceremony/reception site. We had met the photographer at the park a couple of weeks prior to our special day, and we fell in love with all of the photo opportunities. We were also lucky, because a few other brides showed up right after we finished up our photos! 
The first photos that Jay and Andrea (Pictures by Jay) had us do, were ones where I walked up from behind Brian and surprised him… so, he could see me ‘for the first time’.
And, I found my sweet Brian.

So, our ceremony/reception site was at the restaurant where we had our first date- Vin de Set. We wanted to take photos at the top of Vin de Set on the rooftop with the arch in the background… little did we know that AmerenUE was having a picnic/festival and had all of their cranes up! Ha! Jay did his best to work around it!
