The weekend before Halloween, Nathan had his first Go See It with Cubscouts. We take the kids a lot to the Art Museum for their Family Sundays, and Brian saw there was a Native American month in October. It consists of a craft (and the crafts are always amazing) and a tour of the Native American gallery.
The craft this week was making your very own Native American bag, complete with beads. Here is Nathan and a good friend of his from school, working on their bags.
Nathan’s finished bag. They used fabric markers, so it can go into the wash.
Autumn’s bag had a really long string of beads. It broke, so we had to sew it on (with a better method) again.
Autumn’s finished bag. She is starting to write her name… she commonly writes A-U-U-T-T.
Brian even did a bag. Ha, ha!
