I LOVE cookies! Especially chocolate chip cookies, they are my favorite. I have decided to do a little baking on the weekends leading up to Christmas… My goal is to try a new cookie recipe every weekend until Christmas. We’ll see if I can hold up to it. What did I try first? Chocolate Chip Cookies Stuffed with Nutella! (BECAUSE I LOVE NUTELLANUTELLANUTELLA!) Ok, ok, so the original recipe sprinkles sea salt on the cookies at the end… I was going to do this, but I forgot! I apologize.
Another reason I should bake more? Because, this princess loves to help me. She loves to pull her chair right up to the counter. This is one of her favorite things to do right now, to help out in the kitchen… She loves to help Brian make up a batch of batter for pancakes… her brother could care less, as long as he gets a bite of whatever we are making. 🙂 And, ugh. Ignore my messy kitchen!
Now, stuffing chocolate chip cookie dough with ooey gooey nutella can be quite a messy feat for a just turned 4 year old. Look, here is her cookie tray…
And, here is mine. Yeah, she loves to make a mess! 🙂 Her cookie dough balls were SO messy that I was afraid to bake them with mine… hence, the separate trays. Her cookies actually turned out lovely, and are nice and small, like drop cookies. Mine turned out quite well, too! YUM!
