After we dyed the Easter eggs, we decided to give the kids some time to play in the abundance of snow that was outside. I love to make snowmen and had seen a really neat idea on Molly’s blog on how she decorated hers with dyed Easter eggs. I thought it would be perfect since we had just dyed eggs that morning! Here is a photo of Nathan by the snowman and of course Miss Autumn is inside stripping off her clothes, because she was TOO cold from being outside.
Isn’t he cute? Or, she. This really sums up St. Louis weather in a nutshell. Blizzard in March.
Close up of the buttons
We just cleaned out our coat closet and donated all of our extra scarves to Good Will, so I had trouble finding a scarf to put on our snowman! Brian told me this scarf looked like an old granny scarf (it actually goes over the head and is really cute, but how I have it laid here it doesn’t look right) so I took it off.
Such a cute face. I used my Target Dollar Spot buttons, the nose in addition to the dyed Easter eggs.
I will be sad when he melts! Although, happy, too, because I am eager for some WARM Spring weather!
