After they opened their Easter baskets, it was time to hunt eggs! It was sort of mean to let them wait by the patio door, but my Mom and I wanted to get outside so we could get a good photo of them rushing outside to greet all the eggs!
And, off they go!
I love getting photos of Autumn in her pretty dress while she gets eggs! She’s so beautiful!
Doesn’t Nathan look like a professional here? Especially with his stance and how he’s rolling his tongue?
And, Autumn… holding her basket with both hands? She’s serious!
We even had a talking egg. Have you seen these at Walgreens? “I’m ovveerrrr here!”
The horses were out, too, but they weren’t hunting eggs. 😉
Autumn getting three eggs in a row on a fence… she’s so cute, she stopped to show me the third one.
Easter bunny (Brian) did a really good job hiding the eggs in unique places!
Nathan quickly picking up an egg that broke open… ohhh, no! No time to waste!
The pickings are starting to get slim…
I love the huge pink bow on Autumn’s dress.
Autumn finds one of the two REALLY, REALLY big eggs.
Nathan had so many eggs in his basket, he dropped some! We had to dump their baskets out halfway through the hunt.
I need to count how many eggs I have, but the hunt lasted a good amount of time and both kids were satisfied.
Time to sort
Nathan LOVED the bunny money!!
Autumn loved sorting hers
Then, after the egg hunt we stayed outside to hit some balls. It was a gorgeous day!
Autumn has quite a good swing… so good in fact that she hit Grandma on the head (plastic ball, thankfully!)
