What Wives Wear Link Up — Week 7 !

This past weekend, Brian and I went out to celebrate our dating anniversary. I know, we are married now… but, the place where we met is SO magical to us… so magical, that we even decided to have our reception in the same building! I was excited to go out for dinner and since the restaurant is on the roof top of a building, I wanted to wear something nice for the evening. I decided to wear this little black dress that I purchased at Express. This is the very dress that I wore when Brian proposed to me in Paris under the Eiffel tower!

Ok, so of course I had to do a flash back photo of me wearing this dandy dress ON the top of the Eiffel tower after Brian proposed! It isn’t the best photo, because with all of sparkly lights up there you’re going to get a washed out photo… but, my oh my was I one happy camper!!

Here is a front view of the dress… Brian and I tried a new photo spot and YIKES… it did not work out well… so, I think we will stick to the back yard next time! Actually… next week I will be in NYC, so maybe we’ll find a fun little photo spot in Central Park! Hmmm!

I also wore this cute little bow headband that I purchased at Target not too long ago. It is black and has gold trim. Oh, I love it! Sadly, I think the last time I wore it was when we went out on Valentine’s Day. I am sort of a headband addict…

Now… if you shop at Express, you know that some of their dresses can be a bit TOO much. I wanted a nice elegant dress, but I love how this dress has a full length zipper down the back of it… a little sexy, but not too much, y’know?

I also wore some Essie Gold nail polish, I wanted something to pop against the black dress.
