Today I am excited to share our 2014 Fall Bucket list with you. I always try to think of some ideas I love to do together with the kids and some for just me and possibly Brian, too! Hope you enjoy my list… and if you have made a Fall Bucket list, please share it in the comments below! I’d love to read it.
Family Activities
1. Explore Parks: Lone Elk Park (Foliage drive-through), Laumeier Sculpture Park and the City Garden
2. Apple Picking and Pumpkin Patch
3. Have a fall themed movie night with goodies such as hot cocoa, smores and other treats.4. Balloon Glow in Forest Park
5. Soulard Market6. Cross Country (Nathan)7. Make ornaments for our Halloween tree8. Trunk or Treat, didn’t decorate our trunk
9. Autumn’s 6th birthday party, she wants to go to American Girl store (of course!)10. Take kids to see Grandpa’s old farm in Illinois on their next day off school
Some Separate Activities for Me (and some with Brian!)1. Do a 10K and a Half: Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run 10K and MO’ Cowbell Half2. Try a new chili and cornbread recipe from Pinterest
3. Anheuser Busch Beer Master Tour
4. Go hiking on the Limestone trail with Brian at Mastodon Park
5. Eat at Josephine’s Tea Room in Godfrey, IL6. Brian date day while kids are in school – Breakfast at Rooster (crepes!), outlet shopping and Chandler Hills Vineyard for lunch7. Lunch at L’Ecole (a cooking school) with Brian
8. Run outside once a week and run at Fenton Park 10-17-14 – Ran at Cliff Cave (4 miles)9. Main Street in St. Charles – Lunch and Shopping with Friends
10. Haunted House

Menu Plan for Week of September 7, 2014:
Sunday – Homemade Waffles, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon
We are going to enjoy breakfast for dinner on Sunday evening. We haven’t gotten the waffle maker out in a long time!
Monday – Easy Baked Ravioli with Garlic Bread, recipe HERE
This is a new recipe I want to try, because it is SO easy! I will probably use cheese ravioli when making this recipe.
Thursday – On Your Own
Friday – French Bread Taco Pizza, recipe HERE
This is a pretty new recipe that Samantha just shared at Five Heart Home. I love regular french bread pizzas, but a french bread taco pizza? I’m in!! I don’t like black olives, but Brian does. I’ll put some on Brian’s pizza out of love. 🙂
Saturday – Eat Out
Dessert – Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings
We are going apple picking and I am going to be trying out some apple recipes in the next few weeks!
