Brian and I went shopping at the outlets during our day date over a month ago and I am finally able to wear some of it. It has been so hot this fall, that I’ve been wearing shorts and tees well into October! We had a little break from the rain this weekend and now its been pouring, spitting and just dreary since Sunday. Yuck. Luckily, Saturday night I was able to wear a light burgundy sweater with leather elbow patches that I found (and fell in love with) at J. Crew Outlet. I have been looking for a sweater with elbow patches for awhile and when I saw it… I knew I hadda have it. It was even on sale!
Here is a back view of the outfit, this gives you a better look at the elbow patches. I really can’t wait to style this sweater all kinds of way this fall, I will be wearing it at least once a week… THAT is how much I am in love with it. 🙂
I also got my hair done on Saturday! I decided to go darker and she added some caramel highlights and also some chocolate highlights. I really love what she did with my hair and she did a great job straightening it, too! I also found it so funny that they use The Wet Brush at my hair salon now!! I just bought one for Autumn a few weeks ago and now I just have to get one for myself!
Recently I purchased several pairs of gold earrings from Charming Charlie and this was the largest gold pair I purchased. I love their size, but I wouldn’t wear this large of an earring for the day-time… but, for going out they were perfect!
I paired this sweater with neutrals… a black fitted skirt from Express and brown wedge boots. For a necklace, I wore a BR tassel necklace that has some green… I didn’t want to look like Christmas, so the green necklace was the only green I added.
I really love how the arm patch shows up in this photo… ahhh. 🙂
It seems tassels are even more the rage this fall then they were last year this time when I got my first tassel bracelet. I really need to learn how to make some tassel jewelry for myself, I think it’d be fun. 🙂
In this photo you can see some of the highlights in my hair and also how this fitted skirt flares out a bit at the bottom.
My camel Tory is my go to bag during the fall.
