Can you believe Thanksgiving is in two days?! We are lucky enough to have Brian’s family and my family to celebrate, with a turkey meal on Thursday AND Friday. Last year we hosted a small Thanksgiving meal at our home, but since we aren’t this year… I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite Thanksgiving drinks, appetizers, salad, sides and desserts. I am sure these will have your mouth watering and will give you some ideas (if you still need some!) before turkey day arrives.
Drinks
White Cranberry Mimosas by Meet.Make.Laugh
These quick to serve up drinks are hard to resist with the frozen cranberries as a little added garnish.
Apple Pumpkin Martini by Eat. Drink. Love.
A apple pumpkin martini with sugar and cinnamon dusting on the rim? Delish!
I have been wanting to make candied cranberries for awhile now, but to put them on top of brie, cranberry chutney and a salty cracker? I die.
Skinny Pumpkin Pie Dip by Yummy Healthy Easy
This dip is not only skinny, but it is easy and tasty! You could use vanilla cookies, cut up fruit, etc. to serve with this tasty dip.
Sides
This delicious creamed corn has an entire stick of butter in it. It may not be healthy, but it has my mouth watering. And, it doesn’t hurt to get the slow cooker out on Thanksgiving day, when the oven is already full with the turkey and other sides!
Sweet Potato Casserole by Baked in Arizona
If you have ever had the sweet potato casserole at Ruth’ Chris, this is almost a copy cat version of it. This crispy pecan top looks amazing!
Green Bean Casserole from Scratch by Crunchy Creamy Sweet
Sour Cream Cheddar Baked Mashed Potatoes by Cozy Country Living
I don’t know about you, but I love cheese with my mashed potatoes. This bake includes a mixture of cheddar cheese and sour cream that bakes up in the oven to give you some awesome mashed potatoes for the Thanksgiving dinner table.
