Welcome back to another week of our Motivational Monday Link Up Party! This has been a busy week with Christmas being only 11 days away. Thanks for all of your prayers, my mom continues to get better every day since the accident… but, still has a long road of recovery ahead of her. She saw a physical therapist this week and has some exercises to do in bed and has been getting around to walk more. However, they still want her to lay in bed with her legs propped up for most of the day, so she is getting a little stir crazy.
We’ve also been really busy now that all of the Christmas festivities have been happening at school… we had a Daisy AND Cub Scout Christmas party, Autumn had a dance watch week and we also had Nathan’s Christmas play at school the same exact evening! This week is filled to the brim… we have our carriage ride through Tilles park, but Autumn has come down with a cold… not sure if it will happen now and we already paid 2 months ago. 🙁 We also have Autumn’s Christmas party at dance, which we may have to skip, because her Christmas play at school is the same night and cuts into half of her dance class. Then, there is the kids Christmas parties on Friday and an early release at 1 p.m. Then… it is CHRISTMAS BREAK for two weeks. Lets hope they don’t get 6 snow days at the end of it like last year… it was actually 63 for the high in St. Louis today, so lets hope this is a MILD winter. I have some fun activities planned for the kids during Christmas break, but we are going to miss my mom, since she can’t get out with us. 🙁
