A couple of weeks ago I was in the mall to spend a gift card and to get my free tube of lipstick from the MAC counter (I had those 6 empty containers sitting in a bag in my car forever)… well, I decided to stop in the H&M store, because it had been awhile. 🙂 I have had a few items I’ve been wanting this spring… a b/w striped dress (mostly white, because it works better for the warmer temps), a blush blouse and a tassel bag. Oh my! I lucked out!!! I decided to share all three with you today… because, they all work together nicely! And, these three pieces were under $50!! YEP! The tassel shoulder bag was actually the most expensive at $29 and the cashier gave me $10 off at the counter… I love when they do that, because I never receive coupons from H&M nor did I know they had coupons.
I decided to wear a denim jacket with this outfit, because the spring mornings have been rather cool. You’ll see that since I am wearing the blush blouse over the dress, that I decided to wear a gold belt to accentuate my waist a little bit. I think this gives the entire outfit a polished look since I am wearing the blouse untucked. What I love about this blouse is that it is pretty thick, yet very sheer and you can see the stripes of the dress underneath it. It also has lace on the top portion of it and who doesn’t love a little lace?
At first I thought… wow, this tassel bag is only going to work with super casual outfits, but I think it looks really nice with ‘sorta’ dressy outfit. I actually just wore this for Brian to photograph me in and I actually plan to wear it this Friday, because we are planning on going to the winery! Yay!
I decided to pull out the Shine necklace I purchased from my last RocksBox and oh do I love it.
I am also wearing my new Stacy Brown bangle, it is a bow in gold with my monogram on it with pink gingham. I found out about her on Instagram, which goes to show how marketing on there really works! It was really, really hard deciding on one of her bangles, but I am in love with this one! She hand paints these bangles, so I had to wait SIX weeks after I ordered it… it was so, so worth the wait!

This week I chose Katie from Hello Katie Girl as my top pick. Katie is wearing a really beautiful pixelated houndstooth skirt in a bright color. She styles the rest of her outfit with other vibrant colors and they all work really nice together. I also want the blush pink purse she is wearing, it is a beauty!
