Welcome back to another week of our Motivational Monday Link Up Party! We were supposed to have our school’s picnic on Saturday, but they canceled it due to rain. So, we had all day Saturday with nothing to do… we actually stayed home most of the day and I got a few things together for Nathan’s birthday party. It was so nice to have a day at home and nowhere to be. Today we celebrated Nathan’s birthday with dinner at a hibachi restaurant, gifts and an ice cream cake. We had his class party last week, so I wanted a simple party at home on his actual birthday. It was really nice.
We have 4 full days and 1 half day of school this week and two half days next week… then, its SUMMER BREAK! The kids are super excited and I’m just trying to figure out some sort of schedule we can stick to each week and how I’m going to keep the house in some sort of order. ha! No matter what, I am sure it’ll be just as much fun as last summer was!!
And, Nathan officially ‘starts’ karate on Monday for a 6 month session! It should be interesting as the class includes a binder with homework for each week (memory work, etc.!)… I guess we will get our moneys worth… it is NOT cheap.
