So, what did we do on this first week/weekend off of school?
Kicking off another summer at the St. Louis Zoo! We went to the zoo with my parents, made our second dessert (strawberry pudding pie) with our strawberries from Eckerts, Grandma and Pa bought Nathan a tank and supplies for a turtle they are getting him AND we had our first board game night. Nathan got Ticket to Ride for his birthday and we all LOVED it. It is for 8+, but Autumn enjoyed it and did ok playing with our help.

Faux Concrete Succulent Planters
Michele from The Scrap Shoppe, created these concrete succulent planters from FOAM balls. I know… brilliant! I also love the gold stripe she added with washi tape to each planter. Better yet, the succulents are fake… no watering or extra care needed!
