Today I am sharing a guest post that I did a few weeks ago on Rachel’s blog, Garay Treasures! Fall is quickly approaching and I have started to think about adding some pieces to my fall wardrobe. It is always fun to reevaluate your closet this time of year and to figure out a few new statement pieces to add.

For this outfit collage, I started with a blardigan in a crisp fall color. Then, I added that gorgeous beaded tank from J. Crew. The beads on it are such lovely colors and I pulled out the teal color and decided to use it for the crossbody bag, necklace and you’ll see the wooden watch has a teal face. Even though it is almost fall, I like to pop a little color into the browns, oranges, warm reds, yellows and caramels you usually see surface during the fall season.
To add a little playfulness to this outfit, I added a colorful tassel bracelet and the yellows and teal colors work with the colors of the beads on the tank.
I have been wanting a pair of Karen Walker sunnies forever, so of course… I added those and the pair I chose would really go with about any outfit and/or any season.
I also added these Toms Desert Wedge Booties, because they are super cute and I’ve been wanting a pair for a couple of years now. They would go great with destructed skinnies with a little flare (just a little!), so of course you’ll see a nice pair from the Gap… because, we all know that the Gap has well-fitting jeans down!
The wooden watch by Jord is made with zebra wood and has a turquoise face. I really like the natural element and color that the wood gives to the outfit.
Top it all off with a nice wool hat and you have a super dandy fall outfit. And, the blardigan is great as a layer for you to remove and tie around your waist or hang over your shoulder when it warms up midday.
