I was really excited to put together todays post for y’all, because I finally get to share my new hair extensions c/o Irresistible Me. I have always wanted to try out hair extensions that weren’t permanent for a little fun. When I was a kid, I had hair down to my bum and nowadays… well, it would just never grow that long anymore. Irresistible Me let me select what length, thickness and color I wanted my hair extensions to be…. I selected the Royal Remy extensions, which comes from just one donor with virgin unprocessed hair. They then color it (I chose Royal Light Brown #6) and add a unique treatment to it to make it extra silky and durable. I watched this video to see how to clip the hair extensions into my hair and it was SO easy! The clips are high-end and really place the pieces firmly in your hair. For the length, I chose 20″, I wanted my hair to be longer!
Here is a Before and After photo of the front of my hair.
Before and After photo of the back of my hair. Isn’t this amazing?!
The hair came in this cute little black box that says Irresistible you! on it.
The hair on the left is a sample that lets you match the color to your natural color before you open the entire package of hair on the left.

Here is what it looked like once I took it out of the package.
I also recently won this maroon hat from The Mint Julep and isn’t it TOO cute for the fall? I had to share it today, too. 🙂

So, what were my thoughts on the hair extensions? After I got over the thought of having someone elses hair clipped into my hair… I was quite pleased! It REALLY made my hair thick and long… I was sort of sad when I took the clips out, because my hair looked so good with them in! I get highlights and lo-lights in my hair every other month, so I was worried about finding a color that would match my own. I went with the Light Brown (#6), because I consider my hair to be a light brown. The color really matched well and the highlights in my hair just gave the extensions some natural highlights. I did some research online and the length I chose (20″) is popular in that it doesn’t get ‘too heavy’. I enjoyed having long hair, but the clips were still comfortable in and they didn’t hurt or feel heavy at all.
Will I wear the hair extensions again? You bet! I haven’t even tried curling them or braiding them yet, but I will! I will probably save them for a special night out with the husband (he told me he likes them and doesn’t find them weird at all) or if I go out with my friends. It is going to be so fun to change up my look a little every now and then. What is great is you can wash the extensions, too.
