Recently a new discount store opened up just miles from my house in Arnold, Missouri! I was so excited when they contacted me to do a little shopping in their store, especially when it is October and there are so many adorable fall and Halloween items in their store. The name of the store is ‘Here Today‘, because a lot of their items may be in the store today, but could be gone tomorrow! That is why you want to stop in often, they are always updating and changing their merchandise.
They also have several other locations in the St. Louis area, such as Fenton (Gravois Bluffs), Lake St. Louis, Florissant and even Fairview Heights, IL. They are planning to open another store in Shrewsberry soon.
Today I’ll be sharing my first shopping experience in the store, what I found, purchased and how those items look in my very own home. I will also be sharing a couple more shopping trips in the next two months and will even be having a giveaway for a gift card in December’s post… so, be sure to follow along!
The store was divided into several different areas that you could shop, such as the ‘Imagine’ area which housed a lot of home decor. This is where I found the perfect lantern to decorate with some of my Halloween decor once I got it home (which I will share at the end of the post).
Just a couple more photos from the ‘Imagine’ area of the store. It was one of my favorite areas to browse and I know I’ll be back in to see what they carry every couple of weeks.
The Embellish area had all kinds of on trend clothing, accessories and even coats at wonderful prices. I really loved this striped fringe cardi that I saw, it would make such a great fall layering piece.
Both of these hats are adorable, I could see myself wearing both of these!
I also spotted an entire aisle of discounted pillows! I am always looking for pillows at a decent price to mix things up at home, so this was perfect!
Most of my shopping trip was spent in the Celebrate area, though… It is October and the entire area was full of so many cute items for fall and Halloween! I spent an entire hour just browsing the whole area, it was a lot of fun!
What caught my attention first was this ADORABLE display of wooden jack-o’-lanterns… and, they were such a fun size! I knew instantly that I had to take one of these home for my front porch. So, I did. 🙂
I purchased this adorable pumpkin with the green plaid on it and one of these orange leaves (I was tempted to get the green leaf, too).
I also got this huge container of fall goodness!
There was way too many items that I wanted in Celebrate area of the store. So, I am going to share with you some highlights that caught my eye:
Halloween themed soda and they even had unique candy options for Halloween baskets or to hand out Halloween night.
Halloween jars and spooky Halloween boxes/candle holders.
Costumes at great prices and even a Halloween light up tree. I have a Halloween tree at my house that we decorate with Halloween ornaments and I almost got this light up tree!
And, a few more fall items. I have several friends that collect owl items, so I thought this fall dish towel with owls on it was cute. And, look at these little bears holding baskets of apples! Aw!
And, they had these really cute tins with ‘Harvest’ and ‘Autumn’ on them. Perfect if you need to make up a little gift basket for someone this fall!
I loaded my car up and was ready to check out and decorate my home with all of these new treasures!
And, here is how I decorated my home with my new Here Today purchases:
The wooden jack-o’-lantern found a spot on my front porch, which has several jack-o’-lantern pieces on it already.
The inside of jack-o’-lantern pumpkin is hollow and I thought how fun would it be to put some clear white lights inside there to light it up at night? I may have to try that out this Halloween!
Next up is the lantern that I found in the Imagine area of the store. I used the lantern to house a special Halloween mason jar…
This mason jar is special, because it contains Frog Farts from 1897! And, how cute is it inside this lantern from Here Today! I also added a few of the fall berries and pinecones that were in the big container that I purchased.
The last two items I had left to style in my home was the plaid wooden pumpkin and the tea light leaf holder. Both of these items found their way onto my coffee table in the living room.
The orange and green colors really work well in this room and I was excited how well they blended in with the rest of the decor.
The colored leaf is beautiful when lit and really adds a nice fall touch to the room.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my first shopping trip at Here Today. I will be sharing my next shopping trip in November. This store is a great place to shop for groceries, candy, storage items, clothes, home decor, holiday items, etc. at low prices. I even saw mini cupcakes in the refrigerated cases of their food area, which would be perfect if you need to grab something quickly for a school, work or church celebration. This store sort of reminds me of a Marshall’s and Aldi’s all wrapped up into one store. It has a little of everything all in one spot.
Be sure to check out Here Today if you are looking to save money and to have a rewarding shopping experience.
