We are already in the month of October and making lunches has already become a burden and chore for me. My son always gets hot lunch, but my daughter insists on a cold lunch several times a week. I want to pack her lunch with foods I can feel good about and that are still interesting to her. This can get more and more difficult as we get further into the school year. Sometimes when I am in a rush and packing her lunch, I may not pick the right choices for it. That is why I am excited that I don’t have to worry when I pack her lunch with Horizon® products! Horizon® products are made with ingredients that I am proud to give my childen for their lunch… and, they are quick and easy to prepare!
I am excited that Horizon® has some delicious and fun drinks and snacks to offer her a little variety. We just watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown recently with the kids and they just can’t wait to get more of the Peanuts characters when the movie comes out in November!
The first product that I am super excited about is Horizon®‘s milk that comes in SEVERAL flavors! I purchased the vanilla and chocolate varieties, but they also had strawberry milk! I love that I can offer her different flavors of milk before she gets tired of the plain ole milk and starts asking for her water bottle instead. Even better, each single serve milk box includes 8gr of protein, is an excellent source of calcium and has no high fructose corn syrup! The chocolate variety is flavored with organic cocoa and the vanilla variety is flavored with organic vanilla extract.

Horizon® also offers sandwich crackers in peanut butter or cheddar. I decided to purchase the peanut butter variety, because we love some peanut butter in this household! The sandwich crackers are made from real, organic cheese and peanut butter for delicious taste.

My daughter was so excited about the Peanuts packaging! Unfortunately, we didn’t leave the store with just Horizon® products… but, you know how it goes when you bring your kid with you. 😉
And, this lunch is REALLY fun, because it was all packaged up and put into a new Peanuts lunch box! Woohoo!
And, there you have it… a complete lunch with Horizon® vanilla milk, Horizon® peanut butter sandwich crackers, yogurt with fruit, watermelon (my daughter loves fruit), carrot sticks & cucumber chunks and a turkey and provolone wrap. Oh, and a dusting of peanuts! Yum, yum!
