One of my absolute favorite things to do is to go out on a date with my husband. And, I always enjoy getting ready for it… however, sometimes I don’t have a lot of time to prep. On our last date, we actually went out while the kids were both in school! It was really the only time we could go out together on our actual anniversary. Since I had to get both kids ready in the morning (as well as my self), I didn’t have a lot of ‘extra’ time to spend on myself. That is why I am excited to share some quickie makeup tips with Maybelline makeup with you! You can use these quick tips and be out the door and looking great in minutes!
Maybelline has a new mascara called the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara and I decided to go to Walmart to pick up a tube in their cosmetics area before my date. It comes in waterproof or washable and in several different shades. This mascara is wonderful, because it gives me long and full lashes with LOTS of volume! This is so much quicker and easier then fake eyelashes!

After shopping for the mascara, I knew I would save time by laying out my clothes the night before. This will save you so much time in the morning or in the evening, too! I lay out which shoes I plan to wear and my accessories. It will take out all of the guesswork when you are short on time. I picked out something fairly casual, since we were going out on a day date. I wore a polka dotted chambray top, a herringbone vest, leather lined leggings with booties and a quilted purse. I also wore a statement necklace with some simple jewelry.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser
Lets start with one of my favorite Maybelline products ever… the Instant Age Rewind Eraser that simply erases those dark circles under your eyes. If you are a mom, were up late the night before or are prone to dark circles under your eyes, this will be a lifesaver at hiding them.
The applicator for the age rewind eraser is a sponge and you twist a knob several times to bring the concealer up into the sponge. You spread it all over your problem areas and blend it in. I sometimes will use my makeup blender to help blend it in even more.
And, ta-da! No more black circles!
Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara
The next makeup step will be to define your brows with a filler. This will really clean up your brows and give them a more defined line and help make your eyes pop (which will make you look more awake!). Maybelline has a BROW drama sculpting brow mascara that makes your life so much easier. The applicator is great and you just swipe it onto your brows… this is quick and easy and won’t give you as significant of a look as a brown pencil, but remember that we are going the easy route! You can also use a brow brush to brush in the mascara a little more if you get too much on with the mascara brush.
And, now my brows look fabulous! I also put on a little eyeshadow and eyeliner at this time, but you can skip this if you are really limited on time!
Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara
And, now for my favorite… the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara! I am always picky about what the applicator wand looks like and you can’t really see what it looks like in the box at the store. I am sharing a close up shot I took with my Macro lens in the photo above. This applicator applies the mascara evenly to give you lots of volume and lengthens your lashes without the clumps!
And, here are my lashes! Nice and long, full of volume and gorgeous! I rubbed on some foundation lotion to add a little color to my face… and I am now ready for a date with my sweet husband! I’m now ready to get quickly dressed and I’m ready to go out the door to drop the kids off and then get on with the date!
