The Creative Corner Link Up Party & Weekly Recap Photos! – 01/24/16

Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! Thank you for stopping by every week! 

Usually I try to write a little more in this space, but with all of the sickness around here (we are all better now!) and with several days with the kids off school… I haven’t had the energy to post anything other then this party. At the beginning of the year, I mentioned that I would no longer be posting our weekly meal plans… but, I would like to post a few recap pictures from our week! So, let’s start.


(Left) Last weekend we got a sprinkling of snow (and much more later!) and Autumn wore this adorable houndstooth coat that a blogging friend of mine (that no longer blogs or IG’s- boohoo!) sent her last year. It FINALLY fits! 
(Right) Autumn had a Minion movie night with Daisy Scouts last Sunday! She had a blast!



(Left) Nathan sparring in karate (he is the orange belt). He just LOVES that he gets to wear armor… and, mom just wants to bite her nails over it! lol!
(Right) Brian got a 3D printer kit for his birthday and built the entire printer all by himself. He made this Death Star with it for Nathan’s pinewood derby car. He also made Autumn some cute little dogs that I MUST share photos of soon! They are SO cute and I may steal one for my wine cart! lol! (They might just have a wine cork in-between the face of the dog and its behind! lol! Ok, sounds weird… and, maybe I shouldn’t let Autumn play with wine cork dogs… but, they are super cute!)



(Left) Nathan got to go on his first ever cabin camping trip this weekend. After seeing photos of the cabin, I was so, SO glad I didn’t go. 
(Right) Autumn and I hung out all weekend by ourselves without any boys in the house. Autumn even slept in my room (Mommy sleepover!) and also demanded asked for Mom to take her to all kinds of fun places all weekend! (Mom is tired.)



And, the last recap picture is of this adorable angel feather card that Leslie from Once Upon a Time sent me! What a SWEETHEART! Not only is the card gorgeous and HAND made, but she wrote the most touching note inside it. I really can’t believe blogging has brought me so many great friends, some of which I hope to meet in real life eventually! THANK YOU, Leslie for adding some sunshine to my day!

DIY Wine Station
Jill at Doused in Pink shared her DIY Wine Station at last weeks party. She didn’t want to spend money on a wine cart, so she decided to use some antique suitcases. Such a great way to work within your budget and I love the accent pieces she added to it!
