Today is an exciting day, because I have TWO things to share with you. My latest Stitch Fix box reveal as pictured above. And…
And, Krystine over at Jewel Exclusive sent me a whole box of their certified metal jewelry, including some sterling silver pieces to try out. Jewel Exclusive is a jewelry site that is passionate about fashion and lifestyle tips for its users. All of their pieces are of high-quality, but are sold at a reasonable price. Be sure to check them out!
This is my SIXTH Stitch Fix box and I’m sharing how I styled the pieces with Jewel Exclusive jewelry! Yay!
So, what is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is sort of like having your own personal shopper! You fill out a survey online (it includes photos of different outfits) and it helps them decide which outfits and which price range you fit into. They send you 5 pieces (tops, bottoms, accessories, jewelry, etc., etc.) and you decide which items you want to keep. After you’ve decided what you want to keep, you ship the rest back within 3 business days. If you buy all of the items you get a discount. There is a monthly fee of $20 that you will lose if you do not buy any of the 5 items. But, if you buy just one item they will subtract that $20 from your order.
And, if you sign up using my code, you’ll help me earn $25.00 off my next Stitch Fix box! To sign up under me, click HERE.
Are you ready to see my items?
Items One and Two
Button Down Plaid Shirt in Pink, Red and Navy
Polka Dot Vest in Navy and White
At first, my absolute favorite item was this plaid shirt when I tried it on. But, I already have FOUR plaid shirts (2 of which are red!) and I just couldn’t add another. Although, I thought the pink in the shirt would have been nice for Valentine’s Day.
This polka dotted navy vest was SO, so cute when I saw it in the box. I have a lot of vests, so I have to really like one to buy it. It really brings out the navy in this plaid shirt, too. The only part of it that I disliked is that the collar was bulky/hard to fold down. I don’t like to wear my collars up, so this sort of bothered me and I would hate to have to fold it down multiple times in one day while wearing it out. I paired it with some velvet leggings (more on that below) and navy flats. Such a cute and casual outfit for February!
P.S. It was 64 degrees out while I had the hubby shoot these photos. YES, 64 in February!
Here is the plaid top with the vest. I loved it with and without the vest, such a great top!
3 of the 5 of the pieces that Jewel Exclusive sent me were bracelets. My absolute favorite one is the monogrammed bracelet in sterling silver. The sterling silver diamond anchor and amethyst bead inspirational bracelet has such inspirational words on it. In the middle you’ll see a sterling silver woven leather bracelet with a cross tassel. These all stack well together, but will also look great alone or with other bracelets, too!
I’m also wearing a pair of sterling silver tear drop hook wire earrings from Jewel Exclusive. I really like how simple these earrings are and they can be worn for a casual or dressy look.
The last piece I am wearing with this outfit is a sterling silver double infinity chain necklace.
Item Three and Four
Striped Shirt in Gray and White
Velvet Leggings – $88
This shirt was hard not to love, it is REALLY soft and who doesn’t want a striped shirt in neutral colors? I didn’t even realize until trying it on that it has a fun slit in the back, where the shirt folds over itself (hard to explain, the pictures will do the explaining for me!). I really wanted this shirt, but I have a gray and white striped shirt already. It is a little different though and I think I would like this shirt a lot more. Since I only pick ONE item from my Stitch Fix box, I decided to pass on this one. I was sad to let it go, though!
The velvet leggings I hated when I first saw them in the box. I asked my Stitch Fix gal to send me some leggings, but velvet ones? I couldn’t remember the last time I wore velvet. But, surprisingly I tried them on and fell in LOVE with them. They are so soft, comfortable and go with a lot of my longer tops and dresses. And, surprisingly… this is the item I decided to keep in my Stitch Fix box! Yes, the velvet leggings. 🙂
In this photo you can see the slit in the back of the shirt.
I was so proud of myself for getting my fur vest out again! I have only worn it ONCE… so, this will be twice! I need to stop being a coward at wearing it out and about!
I am styling the bracelets from Jewel Exclusive once again. And, who else has a sweet gum ball tree in their yard? They are so pretty in the fall, but the spiky balls are such a PAIN!
Item Five
Red Dress – $138
Unfortuantly, I threw my card away and I don’t remember the prices on everything. After you check out, you can’t see the items on Stitch Fix anymore, so I just marked the prices for this dress and the leggings I bought. The other items were around $40-60 each.
I asked my style gal to send me a pretty dress for Valentine’s Day. Brian and I have extra special plans that I booked over a month ago and I would have loved a new dress for the event. I don’t wear dresses often and I have to REALLY love a dress to pay over $100 for it. This dress… I thought I would love… but, once I put it on it did not knock my socks off. Also, the zipper was really hard to zip up in one section and even my husband had a hard time zipping it up for me (and no, it wasn’t my muffin top!). So, the dress went back!
I do like the detail on the edge of the skirt though, SO pretty. I don’t think I am crazy about the heels I paired with the dress, but I am limited on fancy dress shoes in my closet (something I need to work on) and I couldn’t find a shawl or little sweater in my closet that would go with it either. So, I didn’t have much to go with styling it. Maybe if I had styled it a little better I could have loved the dress more.
For this outfit, I decided to do an arm party with just one of the bracelets that they sent me, the monogrammed C bracelet. The silver really stands out against the other gold bracelets. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this bracelet A LOT.
Well, that is it! I am not sure if this was my absolute favorite Stitch Fix box, but I am happy with the velvet leggings. If I can find ONE item to keep, I am happy… because, I only like to buy one item each time to keep the cost down. My favorite part is receiving a box full of goodies to try on and a lot of times I’ll purchase something I would have never selected for myself… such as these velvet leggings. 🙂

This week I selected Debbie from Fashion Fairy Dust. The mixture of lace and florals and the edge the lace up boots makes this outfit feminine yet a little edgy. And, the color of Debbie’s vest really makes her hair look extra cute here!
