Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! Thank you for stopping by every week!
Time for some weekly recap photos:
(Left) On Monday I went to lunch with some of my old co-workers. I used to work in the Marketing department of a large chemical company for 10 years and 2 years ago I left that behind to become a stay at home mom and blogger. I’ve kept in touch with these wonderful ladies and it was such a fun lunch. I worked with most of the ladies in this photo for a DECADE. One of them just said goodbye to her husband of 33 years just last week, so heartbreaking. I was glad she made it to lunch still. We are planning to meet up for lunch again in June, it really is so much fun! I think this lunch lasted 2.5 hours, we had so much to talk about! (Right) When I got home from lunch I found Rose, under the comforter in our bed, where she usually is… wouldn’t it be great to have the life of a cat? Our other cat doesn’t sleep all day like Rose… Bratches likes to follow me around (she is literally my shadow!) all day long! Sometimes I wish she did sleep more! 😉
(Left) I usually go grocery shopping after I drop the kids off at school on Thursday and my treat to myself is always one of these Starbucks Frappuccino’s. I love the vanilla one. This is the only coffee I have all week, we don’t even own a coffee maker at our house. Is that weird? (Right) Thursday was such a rainy and cold day, but this gorgeous sunset made up for it. Our white fence is purple!
On Friday we had Grandparents Day at the kids school… they did this even when I went to school there! (Right) Autumn’s choir singing, she is on the far right. (Left) Nathan’s gym class, he is doing square dancing or some sort of dancing. He’s in the red shirt/navy pants. It is always a fun day. I stood in as ‘Grandpa’ since my dad had a doctors appointment. My mom and I traded off time in the kids classrooms. Then we went out to lunch at Miss Sheri’s, a cafeteria-type place with yummy pie! I had a lemon meringue!

Spring Decor Projects
Brooke at Brooklyn Berry Designs shared her Spring Decor Projects at our last party. This was part of the Hometalk #DIYMYSPRING blog hop that I participated in last week, too. This space that Brooke decorated for the Spring above her piano is beautiful! The tissue flowers and homemade shell garland are so delicate and pretty!
Now hop over to all the other cohost’s blogs and see what caught their eye this week. You just might be featured there too! Don’t forget to grab this button if you’ve been featured.
I am starting my first ever monthly newsletter for this blog and I would LOVE for you to join my mailing list!
