On Sunday I ran my FIRST run for marathon training. And, I’ve completed the first week. We also went and saw a movie on Sunday, ‘Me Before You’. This was one of my favorite books that I read last year. It was a real tearjerker, but I loved every minute of the movie.


 
It’s been a busy week, I lead Autumn’s 2nd grade class in Vacation Bible School all week. Grandma was a helper for Nathan’s class. On Thursday night, Brian and I went on a sunset paddleboat ride and had a picnic! It is one of our summer date night traditions!



Then on Saturday we went to Raging Rivers waterpark! The kids had free passes from reading extra in school. We had never been there before and it was a lot of fun! The kids slept SO good that night, the water and sun really wore them out!

DIY Wood and Cinder Block Bench

Last week Lauren from Mom Home Guide shared her DIY Wood and Cinder Block Bench. Lauren has been part of the Curb Appeal Blog Hop with me and I couldn’t believe how attractive this bench turned out with the cinder blocks! Even better, it was an inexpensive DIY project.
