Today I’m going to share how I’ve made an impact in my community and how you can, too! Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company is giving through its “Band Together” campaign by donating a total of $2 million to support three causes: health, home and hunger!
Jewelers Mutual has been exclusively insuring jewelry for more than 100 years and offers repair or replacement coverage that includes worldwide travel protection for all types of jewelry and watches. Coverage includes loss, theft, damage and mysterious disappearance (unexplained loss).
Tips on How to Give Back to Your Community
Have you ever felt like you should give more back to your community? Do you have a few extra hours to spare each week or have you wanted to introduce your children/entire family to giving back?
Here are some tips/ideas to get you started:
Help a family that is having hardships (financially, health, etc.)
Keep your streets clean by picking up trash, weeding, etc.
Run in a charity race
Volunteer at a charity race
Donate Time/Food to a Local Food Bank
Help out the Elderly

The Band Together campaign was started by Jewelers Mutual to donate a total of $2 million to support three very important causes: health, home and hunger.
- St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
- Habitat for Humanity
- Feeding America (or Food Banks Canada)
You can band together with Jewelers Mutual to help decide how to disperse the record-breaking donation by voting for your choice of causes from July 11, 2016 at 11am CT – July 31, 2016 at 11pm CT.
The cause that receive the most votes by the end of July will receive a $1 million donation from Jewelers Mutual!
The runner-up will receive $700,000 and $300,000 will go to the third-place winner.
During the three-week campaign, voters will be entered for a chance to win weekly jewelry prizes from STACKED New York. Each week, one lucky winner will receive a set of 3 stacking bands ($450 retail value). You can vote daily to increase your chances of winning!
