Hi everyone! I haven’t gotten a Stitch Fix box in a few months and I thought it would be nice to get one now that it is almost fall. I told my stylist to send me some fall colored items and anything on trend for the fall right now along with some open toes booties. I’m trying to aim for a box every other month, but I think it was about 3 months in-between boxes this time. I was really pleased with everything in my box this time and I always surprise myself with what I decide to buy after I try everything on. I also had my hair done on this same day and it is always so nice to have someone do a blow out on your hair FOR you when you have lots of curls. I also decided to go a little darker for the fall and my stylist added some darker caramel colors and a touch of auburn.
GlassesUSA was also kind enough to send me two pairs of prescription glasses to review. I’ll be sharing those in this post and how easy it was to shop on their online site and order them.
Are you ready to see what was in my Stitch Fix box?
Item One
Just USA Anjuli Dark Wash Denim Jacket – $58.00 – KEPT
When I saw this dark wash jacket in my box, I thought to myself… but, I already have a denim jacket. However, when I put this jacket on it was comfier, a darker wash and the quality was way above that of my ON denim jacket. I decided that a denim jacket is such a versatile piece, that replacing my old denim jacket with a nicer jacket would be in the best interest for my wardrobe. Ha!
Now, let me share with you the details about the glasses I am wearing here. As I mentioned above, I am wearing a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglasses in this post. Both glasses are from GlassesUSA with my prescription. This particular pair pictured above is the Party Line Terry, which is a smaller frame that is perfect for narrow faces such as my own.
Shopping on GlassesUSA was SO easy!
1. Choose a frame, there are almost 2,000 pairs in stock!
2. Pick your lens type.
3. Enter your prescription. You can also email, fax or upload it to them.
4. Shipping is free and fast!
5. 24/7 Tracking, so there will be no guessing at when your glasses will arrive.
I decided to wear this tassel necklace with this dress, the colors match perfectly. You can find the DIY for how to make your own beaded tassel necklace HERE.
Item Two
Gills Viola Knit Dress- $58.00 – RETURNED
The second item in my Stitch Fix box is this gorgeous fall-colored knit dress. Brian thought that THIS dress was the item I should keep… but, I decided to pass it up. It was really cute, but it doesn’t have a lot of forgiveness in the mid-section, which can be a problem area for me at times. I’ve never been a big fan of the wrap style dresses either. I do think it looks really cute with the denim jacket and booties, though!
Item Three
Dolce Vita Maddox Peep Toe Bootie- $160.00 – RETURNED
I asked for a pair of open toed booties with a low heel, but the heels on these were pretty high and I just couldn’t wear these as an every day boot as a busy mom of two. They were SO cute though and I was sad to send them back. However, the $160 price made it easier and they weren’t the easiest to get on and off (no zipper or anything). So far I just haven’t had much look with shoes and Stitch Fix!
Items Four and Five
Market & Spruce Barty Henley Tunic – $58.00 – KEPT
Edyson Windsor Corduroy Straight Leg Jean – $78.00 – RETURNED
With olive being such a popular color this fall, it was refreshing to receive a tunic in a rich purple color. I fell in love with this tunic right away and KNEW I’d be keeping it. I know it seems like such a simple top, but the sleeves can be worn up or down depending on the temperature at that time of the day and it can be worn with leggings or denim since it covers the bootie area.
I’m also wearing navy colored corduroy pants, which I already have a pair of at home. The stylist called them ‘velvet’ pants and they did feel smoother then my regular pair of corduroy, but they were still corduroy in my opinion! She mentioned that velvet was going to be HOT this fall, which made me excited since I have a pair of black velvet leggings that I purchased last year from Stitch Fix. They will be perfect with this tunic once it gets a little cooler!
The sunglasses that I am wearing with this outfit are the Ashbury in Gold/Beige from GlassesUSA. I selected these, because the neutral colors will work with almost any outfit AND I do love anything with gold.
Hope you enjoyed seeing which items I decided to keep/return. Now I’ll leave you with a little about Stitch Fix below.
So, what is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is sort of like having your own personal shopper! You fill out a survey online (it includes photos of different outfits) and it helps them decide which outfits and which price range you fit into. They send you 5 pieces (tops, bottoms, accessories, jewelry, etc., etc.) and you decide which items you want to keep. After you’ve decided what you want to keep, you ship the rest back within 3 business days. If you buy all of the items you get a discount. There is a monthly fee of $20 that you will lose if you do not buy any of the 5 items. But, if you buy just one item they will subtract that $20 from your order.
And, if you sign up using my code, you’ll help me earn $25.00 off my next Stitch Fix box! To sign up under me, click HERE.
What items do you think I should have kept from this box? And, be sure to check out GlassesUSA for affordable, attractive and easy prescription eye wear!
Full Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. These glasses were gifted to me in exchange for this post. All opinions are 100% mine.
