How to Prepare a Quick and Festive Cheese Tray in 15 Minutes TOPS:
Now I’m going to share with you how I prepared this cheese tray in 15 minutes tops!
First, you’ll want to do a little grocery shopping. Stella had this Fontanelle® Cheese variety at my local grocer and I picked it up. You’ll also want to pick up some other items, which I’ll share below.
Now, let me share with you how I set up a cheese tray in no time flat. First, you’ll want a plate and three small bowls. I placed the bowls in the middle of the plate. In the first bowl, I placed a sweet and salty trail mix.
Pickles are always a treat and I pair them with fruit trays quite often. If you don’t like pickles, you could put olives in this jar or even a spreading jam.
Next I placed some dried fruit, such as dried apricots in the last bowl.
Now you’ll want to add some goodies around the bowls. I added some thinly sliced Granny Smith apples to add a little tartness. Apples + Cheese = Delicious!
The next item I added was some grapes. Grapes are easy, since you just need to rinse them and they look better on the stem in this type of arrangement.
Next, I added the Fontanelle cheese. I only added one type of cheese to keep this tray simple and to minimize prep time. Since you need to slice cheese, it can add some time to preparing the tray… especially when you have several other items to add to the plate! So, if you’re in a rush… just do ONE cheese. Plus, once you start adding more cheeses… you need a bigger and bigger tray/plate and more of everything else. This cheese tray was perfect for a party of 8! You can add a little more of everything if you’re serving more people.
The last step is adding some crackers around the cheese, grapes and apple slices.
Don’t forget to add some ‘spoons’ or ‘scoopers’ to the bowls. If you’re serving up this cheese tray at home, don’t forget to decorate around the plate with some fresh pines, pine combs and mini-ornaments. I even added a white pom pom garland. It turned out really nice!
Don’t forget to pick up Stella Cheese for your special cheese tray this holiday season. It will definitely make party planning stress free and your guests will be impressed. You can learn more about Stella Cheese HERE.
