Mother’s Day will be here next month! We usually go out to brunch with my family, but sometimes we have a picnic later in the day with the kids. It’s always fun to go to your favorite park or even a new one and lay out on a blanket while munching on delicious foods on a beautiful day! Picnic food is some of my favorite foods, too! I started thinking about our Mother’s Day picnic for this year with the help of Oriental Trading! They have so many adorable gift ideas, trays, floral paper plates/napkins and even Mother’s Day crafts for the kids. I even painted and monogrammed this wooden scalloped tray they sent me! So fun!
This wooden scalloped tray actually came in a set of 3! This is the larger tray, but when I have time I may paint the other two trays and add my monogram to them, too! It’s perfect to use as a flat tray to set food on so it doesn’t tip over and spill!
I had so much fun monogramming it in gold! Gold and monograms are my fave y’all!
These color your own flower pots are so cute! Autumn colored one and I colored one. 🙂 Then we planted some petunias in them. They’re perfect to bring along on a panic, because the pot is plastic and won’t break. Plus, they’re small and you can add one onto a tray to spruce it up a little.
Oriental Trading also sells a lot of Mother’s Day crafts! I found these sticker cards that the kids could make for me. It folds out accordion-style and says M-O-M and they can stick bug, flower, etc. stickers all over it (the stickers are provided). It even comes with an envelope to put the card in!
