Welcome back to 12 Months of Wreaths!
Hi everyone! Welcome back to our fifth month of 12 Months of Wreaths! I’ve been seeing cotton wreaths all over the place, but they are a little expensive at $40+!!
I decided that I could make one myself for half that price and I did!

How to Make a Summer Cotton Wreath
The supplies for this project were pretty simple:
You’ll need:
- Grapevine Wreath
- Cotton stakes (or whatever they are called)
- Drop Cloth Ribbon
- Hot Glue Gun
Take the cotton stakes and insert them into the grapevine wreath. They are pricey, so I used a smaller wreath for this and only did them on one side. I have seen the cotton in long strands, but my Hobby Lobby was out. That would work better if you want to wrap it around the entire diameter/front of the wreath!
I found this ribbon at Hobby Lobby that reminds me of a drop cloth type fabric! I just love it with the cotton. I went ahead and made this bow by hand. I really need to share a blog post on how to make an easy bow sometime.
Thanks again for joining us! We will be sharing a new wreath once a month in 2017!
