Weekly Recap:
Last week I met up with some of my high schools friends for tacos and shopping in downtown Kirkwood. We tried a new taco place called Club Taco, where you get to pick from 25 different tacos! I got a green tomato (veggie) and a shrimp taco… plus TOTS! Yum! I saw these gold shelves in one of the shops and I SO want one of them for a special place in our kitchen/family room (it’s an open space)… they were $400 each. My friend Terri and I also BOTH GOT PARKING TICKETS!!! 🙁 We parked 3 hours in a 2 hour area! Oops!
My Invisalign was on hold for 11 WEEKS! Yes, a long time! I was waiting on my next set of refinement trays (second set of refinement trays!). My orthodontist had to take off all of my buttons and I got to see and feel my teeth in their smooth and straight state! Unfortunately, he had to put 14 buttons back on in different spots, BUT I no longer have the annoying buttons on my two front teeth! I have 24 refinement trays to go through now, a week a piece… so, a little under 6 months. I really hope this is it and I don’t have to go through refinements again! This is taking forever!
Nathan was telling us he was having a little trouble seeing the smart board from the back of his classroom, so I took him to the eye doctor. WELL… the boy needed his first pair of glasses. This is the pair we picked out, but it won’t be in for a week. He needs just a mild prescription, so will only use them in the classroom for now.
We also had May Madness (Field Day) and this is the kids playing shave cream t-ball! Yes, a MESS!!! Hope y’all had a good Mother’s Day and weekend!
We also went strawberry picking this weekend! We finally had a Saturday open for a change! We’ve been so busy lately! It was a lot of fun.
AND, Happy Mother’s Day! I hope every Mother, Grandmother, etc. had a wonderful day!

We are at The Blue Owl and I had the most delicious strawberry mimosa and coffee! I also had their delicious strawberry salad and white chicken chili (not pictured). Oh, and a HUGE lemon meringue pie for dessert! It was heavenly!
