This month I read one book…
The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines
I have never watched Fixer Upper, can you believe that? I don’t really watch a lot of TV… but, I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about this famous couple that have their own show on HGTV about flipping houses. This book was really charming, I loved reading about how Chip and Joanna met and how they built up their life and landed this TV show. The book is written primarily by Joanna with little snippets of Chip’s thoughts and feeling thrown in. Now I just need to take a flight over to Magnolia Market in the Silos in Waco, Texas. That would definitely be a dream shopping trip!
FabFitFun
I have been loving my FabFitFun boxes! I’m looking forward to the summer box, which will be arriving later this month. I decided to sign up to be a Select member, which means I pay one set fee annually instead of a quarterly fee for my boxes. This allows me choice access and I can pick some of the items in my box. For the Spring box, I knew that if I had been able to select what I wanted, I would have enjoyed my items better. For the summer box, I’ve already selected some of the items and I can’t wait to receive them!
Running/Exercise
NOT too much to report here. I’ve been getting up at 5 a.m. to work out most mornings. I’ve been running 3 times a week, doing my Jillian work out once a week and a Yoga workout once a week. I’m really interested in joining the Fleet Feet Summer/Fall training program and it starts in July after we get back from our vacations, so it’d work out perfect. They also have a Speed training program that sounds interesting, especially since I’d love to get to 2 hours or under for my half time. I’m a little bummed, the trail by our house is STILL flooded and so I’ve been running on the treadmill a lot, which has been giving me a little running burnout. I think joining a training program again and running with other runners would make running a little more fun again and would also help me achieve some of my running goals!
HelloFresh
With the kids on summer break, I’ve been looking for ways to make my life a little easier for me. I’ve been wanting to try Hello Fresh again and I thought this would be a perfect time to use it throughout the summer. I love that all of the meal planning is done and the kids can also be introduced to some new foods and meals. Plus, it makes grocery shopping (with the kids) a little easier since I don’t need to buy as many items! We loved all three meals that they sent us and I ordered next weeks meals already! I probably won’t order it EVERY week of the summer, but it is fun to change it up a bit. I can give three friends a free box! House of Cards
Brian and I hardly ever watch TV, unless it is stuff for the kids or if we have a movie night. We thought we’d introduce House of Cards to ourselves since everyone has been raving about the fifth season that just came out. We’re starting at Season 1 and are slowly going through it. I have always love Kevin Spacey, he is so good in this!!

After Bite & Summers Eve
We have a couple of upcoming vacations and I have been a little worried about mosquitos! Thankfully, I was sent After Bite and After Bite Kids to try out! I’m always on the go, it’s always been my nature and I am also actively running 3 times a week right now. I was excited when Silipos contacted me to try out their Active Line! It gives stressed skin it’s glow back and let me tell you… it is definitely helping, because May was a busy and stressful month! And, it also helps to plump up skin and reduces signs of aging. Cat Hammock

I had heard of Evian spray, but had never tried it out until they sent me a bottle of my own! Receiving this during such a hot and humid month was such a blessing! It truly is keeping me cool and refreshed all summer!
