The Creative Corner Link Up Party & Weekly Recap – 06/11/17

Weekly Recap:

I haven’t been in Hobby Lobby much since the kids have been home for summer break. But, my mom had them one day and I got a visit in! I’ve been wanting to decorate my console table for the summer and I purchased these gold dipped blooms, a gold tipped triangle and a clear ‘A’. I also finally purchased the Heidi Swapp letter board I’ve been eyeing and they even let me use their 40% off coupon on it. I’ll be sharing some burlap topiaries I’ve made and my newly decorated console table for the summer this Friday on the blog!



This week the kids had vacation bible school and it was Nathan’s last year. I volunteered and led the 5th/6th graders. On Thursday Autumn had her first gymnastics class for the summer. She does gymnastics just in the summer.



Thursday evening Brian and I did one of our summer traditions- the sunset paddleboat picnic! We love doing this together every summer and I think this may have been our 7th year of doing it. We enjoyed some sangrias before boarding the boat and then they pack you an entire picnic baskets of goodies.



We selected the shrimp and lobster wraps this year and they were so good. We paddleboat to the Grand Basin where all the fountains are and you have a view of art hill and the art museum. It is such a fun spot to enjoy the food in the picnic basket, talk and people watch! I hope you are all having a good Sunday!
