How to Make a Neutral Witch’s Hat Cupcake Liner Wreath
You’ll need:
- Felt Witch Hat
- Plaid Ribbon
- Cupcake Liners
- Foam Wreath Form
- Glitter
- Glitter Glue (or Mod Podge)
- Pins
First, you’ll want to cut off the rims of your cupcake liners. You can do about 10 of these at a time, so it goes really quick.
Now, you’ll want to add glitter to the edges of some of the cupcake liners. ***Don’t cut the centers out of these liners until you add the glitter and it dries. It’ll just make the glitter process easier.*** For this wreath, I added glitter to the edge of about every sixth cupcake liner that I pinned to the wreath form. You can use glittering glue (I just had some around the house) or Mod Podge.
I used an extra coffee filter that I had and used it as a tray and sprinkled some glitter inside it. Then, you’ll take the cupcake liner and move it around so that the glitter adheres to the areas that have the glue on them.
Now you’ll pin the cupcake liners to the wreath form. I would do about 5-6 plain cupcake liners and then add a glitter cupcake liner before adding more plains cupcake liners.
The last step was hot gluing the felt witch’s hat to the wreath and adding a bow!
Thanks again for joining us! We will be sharing a new wreath once a month in 2017!
