My family loves meatballs and I try to change them up every so often. Recently, I purchased a bottle of the NEW P.F. Chang’s® Home Menu Sauces in Mongolian at Walmart. I’m going to share a recipe for Mouth Watering Glazed Mongolian Meatballs Stuffed w/ Cheese with you. These can be served alone, with a side or as a party dish. Not only are they covered with a sweet Mongolian glaze, but they are also stuffed with mozzarella cheese. You can freeze them and warm them up for later, which makes for a convenient dinner later.
As you can see in the animation above, P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Sauce in Mongolian made these meatballs delicious! I picked up a bottle of their Teriyaki sauce and I’ll be trying that the next time I make meatballs!
Mouth Watering Glazed Mongolian Meatballs Stuffed w/ Cheese Recipe
Now I’ll share this simple recipe with you, so you can whip up these meatballs for your family and/or friends!
I picked up two bottles of the P.F. Chang’s Home Menu sauces in Mongolian and Teriyaki from Walmart in the Asian food aisle, along with the other ingredients I needed for my recipe. These products are NEW to Walmart and are sold exclusively at Walmart! Other flavors offered are Kung Pao and Sesame + Soy.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1 Pound of Ground Beef
- 1 Cup of Bread Crumbs
- 1 Egg + 1 Egg yolk
- 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 Mozzarella Cheese Sticks (String Cheese), Cut Into 1″ Cubes
- P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Sauces in Mongolian
Mix bread crumbs, eggs, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper into the ground beef.
Take 4 tablespoon of meat mixture and press a cube of mozzarella cheese into center of it. Roll into a ball. This recipe will make approximately 8-10 meatballs.
Take the Mongolian sauce and layer it in the bottom of an 9×13 dish.
Layer meatballs on the pan with a little space in-between each one. Cover them with a layer of the Mongolian sauce. Bake them at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes.
I used to make these meatballs plain and they were really good with the cheese inside them. However, since I’ve added P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Sauce in Mongolian, the flavor of these meatballs has been outstanding. My husband has definitely noticed the change!
I love to serve these meatballs on a plate with a little bit of the sauce warmed up and I also have a bowl with additional sauce that can be used for dipping!
Be sure to check out Walmart for the NEW P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Sauces to try with these meatballs or with your own recipes. You’ll love the versatility of them!
