August is still officially summer, but I really start to feel like I should be whipping out all of the fall outfits by now… although, it’s 90+ degrees here with 100% humidity, so let’s just keep these summery outfits flowing, right?
This summer I’ve been adoring drawstring shorts, especially if there is a cute tie included with it. Comfy shorts are always my jam and it seems they’ve really upped the cuteness factor on these casual elastic banded shorts! I got the pair I’m sporting in this post from Stitch Fix earlier this summer, but I’ve linked up several other pairs in the widget above. Even better, all of these shorts are on SALE… the stores are trying to get rid of all of their summer merchandise. Buy a cute pair today, wear it for the last weeks of summer and then enjoy it again next summer! I know this will be a trend that will stick around for awhile. 🙂
P.S. This ADORABLE lace top was an Amazon find. Super cheap and excellent quality. It has a nice length (not too short), but I did tuck it in to show off these drawstring shorts. You can see how I styled this top for the fall with a burgundy duster and booties HERE.
This magnetic stacked bracelet was an awesome Francesca’s find, I just love the boutique feel of that store! It is a bunch of thin bracelets joined together and the clasp is magnetic. I love to wear these bracelets paired next to my Apple watch or on my other arm. Such a cute and easy way to do a bracelet stack!
