Recently I shared our Fall Decorated Serving Area and Fall Decorated Tablescape in our newly renovated Farmhouse Style kitchen and today I’m finally sharing the actual Fall Kitchen Reveal itself! I thought I better get this post up this week, because we all know after Halloween… everything shifts to Christmas 🙂
We have a fairly open floor plan in our house and the garage door opens directly to our kitchen. I saw this ‘Welcome’ tobacco basket at Hobby Lobby and thought it’d be perfect for this wall, since it’s directly in front of the garage door when you walk into the house.
Here is a photo of the entire kitchen. I am so bummed, I had hoped to have a new rug under the kitchen table, BUT I ordered it in a size that was wayyy too big. Apparently, I’m not good at measuring… oops! We needed a new rug in our family room under the couches and coffee table, so it went in there and I LOVE it. But, now I need to order a different rug for the kitchen in the correct size! So, I hope to have it soon, so I can share it when I have myChristmas Tablescape post up for a blog hop I’m doing for the holidays.
I just love cooking and hanging out in our new kitchen, it is a lot more functional, brighter and I LOVE how it turned out! I will share links to all of the posts I’ve done on the kitchen, if you want to go back and read about the entire process. Today’s post is mainly just showing you how it looks and I won’t repeat myself with all of the details of how we got to the end result.
We purchased our lighting from Lowes and went with the 5-Light Brushed Nickel Chandelier and the matching French Pendant.

I ordered these smocked cotton curtains from Pottery Barn and I love how light and airy they are and they really brighten the room.
I am so glad we didn’t go with a white farmhouse style sink, it would have been TOO much white! But, I love our oversized stainless steel sink.
Of course, I had to pick up some hydrangeas from Fresh Thyme for these photos. They have the best flowers and affordable prices! We got a Moen faucet and it is REALLY neat… it’s touchless, you just wave your hand above it or it notices your hands under the faucet and turns on by itself. It’s a great toy for the kids, too… ha! 😉
I just LOVE cutting boards right now. I found this ‘eat’ cutting board that is half marble and half wood at Hobby Lobby.
In this corner, we have a HUUUGE lazy susan on the bottom (seriously, it goes back SO deep, yet we can get things out easily since both of the two tiers spin. I also put my little ‘coffee area’ in this corner.

Here is my coffee area. 🙂 I found the matching ‘Happy Pumpkin Spice Season’ tea towel and metal sign in a historic shopping area in St. Louis (Main Street in St. Charles). The coffee cup holder is from World Market. The little metal stand, pumpkins, signs, etc. area from Marshalls and HomeGoods. I seriously shopped all over to find the perfect pieces for the kitchen.
This utensil holder is Rae Dunn, but the tea towel covers it up. But, I couldn’t resist this tea towel.
I really like the texture on the top of this metal stand. You might have noticed that I’ve used it as a prop in some of my recipe posts! Ha! 🙂 Always grabbing things from all over the house for props for blog post photos. 🙂 I got this metal Rae Dunn metal ‘Stir’ spoon rest at Kirkland’s. I went in that store for the first time a couple of months ago to check out all of their Fall stuff and it was so fun! I need to go back in a few weeks to check out all of their Christmas merchandise. It’s close to my husband’s work (which isn’t super close to our house), so I’ll have to lunch with him and check out Kirkland’s afterwards. 🙂
At first I didn’t have anything on top of this stand, but I found this little metal sign and I love it on top! I hope I can find something just as cute for Christmas. Two of these mugs are from Target and the gold and white monogrammed mug is from Anthro (I think everyone and their sister has one!).
This corner in the kitchen used to be SO awkward and the counter space was much smaller. We moved the refrigerator out in order to have more counter space and I just love it! I made the corner into my little ‘coffee station’ and then I have a ton of counter space to the right of the coffee area where I can roll out bread dough, cookie dough or chop up all of my ingredients for our dinners. I love all of the counter space!!!
That’s it!! Hope you enjoyed my Fall Kitchen Reveal! I’m excited to decorate the kitchen for Christmas next! It’s never-ending, right? 🙂 Keep scrolling down if you want to visit my other kitchen posts.
