I’m all about a delicious tea party, that’s why today I’m sharing How to Host a Waffle Tea Party, Perfect for Tween Girls. Just think about it… jazzing up some Eggo waffles with different combinations of fresh fruit, chocolate chips, cookie butter, etc. with a cool and creamy dollop of Reddi-Wip! And, let the girls enjoy the new Netflix series: Spirit Riding Free while enjoying conversation, laughter and good food with each other. You can find Eggo, Reddi-Wip and all of the other delicious toppings for your waffles at your local Walmart store.
If you haven’t heard of Spirit Riding Free, it’s the perfect show to share with your daughter. This show encourages positive girl empowerment, friendship and loyalty. A 12-year-old girl named Lucky, encounters a wild kiger mustang named Spirit. The horse is caught by wranglers and brought to be “broken” in at Miradero. Lucky gradually bonds with the stallion, and frees him. Lucky also meets two other girls, Pru and Abigail, who both own horses. They embark on everyday adventures across the land.
Eggo waffles are warm, fluffy and delicious! They are so easy to whip up on an early morning, especially when you have a group of hungry tween girls at your house. I love that they toast up to a delicious golden crisp in just minutes. I picked up the Eggo Homestyle and Eggo Chocolatey Chip variety for the party. Reddi-Wip makes the perfect cool addition to any waffle and I purchased the Original and Extra Creamy varieties.
Hosting a Waffle Tea Party for tween girls is easier than you’d think! The Eggo waffles come in several varieties and all you need to do is warm them up in a toaster oven and then top with a variety of toppings that taste wonderful on the hot golden waffle.
Reddi-Wip is my go to, because it uses the best dairy cream in original flavors. It uses less hydrogenated oils than other frozen whipped toppings. Providing real cream is a top priority for me.
Here are some ideas for some topping combinations for your Eggo waffles:
Strawberries and Coconut with a Dollop of Reddi-Wip
This one is good with the Eggo Chocolatey Chip variety!
Blueberries and a Lemon Slice with a Dollop of Reddi-Wip
Sprinkle some lemon peel on top if you’d like!
Cookie Butter, Banana, Chocolate Chips and a Dusting of Cinnamon
Use a nut butter instead of a cookie butter for a different flavor!
Displaying the different varieties of these ‘fancy’ Eggo waffle breakfast sammies on a cute tiered tray will give your waffle bar a nice touch. I then serve the rest of the Eggo waffles on a big platter. You could also set up a large platter with warm Eggo waffles and the different toppings and let the girls make their own combinations.
