I always enjoy ordering a Stitch Fix box every new season, because who doesn’t love new clothes? I believe this is box #13 for me! I asked for some early Spring items in this box and I was completely smitten with the floral dress they sent. The other items… didn’t make me think of the Spring. I would have liked some brighter colors. I landed up keeping 2 of the 5 items, so it wasn’t a complete loss. Let me share my box with you and which items I kept (and why) and which items I returned.

When I first pulled this dress out, I didn’t think I’d keep it. I don’t wear dresses very often, so if I am going to keep one I have to absolutely LOVE it. Well, I put this dress on and the fit was perfect and I KNEW I had to keep it. It would make a terrific Easter and even a nice Mother’s Day dress! I have a green cardi I could pair with it and I have several shoes that will go great with the colors.

This charcoal top I did not keep, even though it had a really nice fit. I’m just trying to move towards some brighter Spring colors and it seemed a little dark to me. Instead of the color looking like charcoal, it just looked like a dingy faded black color. Meh.
I was also sent a pair of light wash jeans that are lightly distressed and have a raw hem. I did just buy a pair of tulip jeans from ON that KIND of remind me of these jeans, but they are capri length. So, I liked that this pair was full length (because, it is still cold here in St. Louis) and the fit was really good. I couldn’t turn down this nice pair of denim! I always get a lot of wear out of my denim, because I love jeans! Stitch Fix always sends the best fitting jeans and they’re some of my faves besides my trusty American Eagle jeggings that I love.
The back side of the top did have a a fun cut out and I could see pairing it with a fun colored bralette for the Spring. (Side Note: It was SUUUPER windy when we took these photos. Wind is a fashion bloggers worst nightmare!!)
The last two pieces they sent were just meh to me. The gray blazer looked promising, but the fit was a little off and it was just a little too formal when I put it on. The sleeves were sagging and too long on me. And, I had just purchased a gray cardi in my last Stitch Fix box, so another gray ‘layering’ piece seemed a bit redundant.
I also received this eggplant/dark purple sleeveless tank and this color just seems to be more of a Fall color to me. Maybe if I had paired it with a fun skirt to bring out the purple more, but I just couldn’t find anything in my closet to make me love it more.
