Well, y’all loved my last Trader Joe’s Faves post (see post HERE) so much, that I decided to do a SECOND post today! YAY!! There is just SOOOOO much to love in your local Trader Joe’s store, so if you have never been in one… just DO it! Now let me share what I picked up on my most recent trip. 🙂
I grabbed one of these Perfect Bar’s on my last trip in Dark Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter with Sea Salt. It has 15 grams of protein, YES please! But, it’s 22 Net Carbs and a little high in fat, sooo it can throw your carbs way off if you’re doing a Low Carb day. But, it was a really delicious treat!
I saw this Lemon Basil Pasta Salad on my initial trip and I decided to grab one on this trip and I am oh, so glad I did! Just check the expiration date on it, because you’ll probably need to serve it within the next 3-4 days after purchasing it. This is the perfect Spring or Summer side dish with BBQ’ed chicken, shrimp, etc. Yum-o!!!
Trader Joe’s has a huge selection of hummus and I decided to try this 3 Layer variety. It was REALLY good!
I picked up this bag of peeled garlic, because I thought how convenient is this? However, there is no way I use this much garlic up in a month, so I think I’m going to freeze them (they’ll last 10-12 months in the freezer).
I know EVERYONE loves the Green Goddess dressing, but has anyone tried this Almond Butter Turmeric Salad Dressing? I would love to know if it is any good. Please tell me in the comments.
Ok, THESE are LEGIT folks!!!!!! I will be getting these yummy treats again. Chocolate covered caramels (and the caramel has to be SOFT inside) are my absolute favorite candy!
I don’t know if this makes any sense, but I truly believe Trader Joe’s nuts are just better tasting. I picked up these Dry Roasted & Unsalted Almonds and they’re a great Low Carb Day snack.
These are SO good, especially with the white sauce that Trader Joe’s sells (it’s on the shelf next to these) and it whips up a really fast dinner.
My husband made us two pizzas one night with the Garlic & Herb Pizza Dough and Pizza Sauce. We added pepperoni on one and pineapple on the other. It was REALLY, really good! I read online that you need to bake the pizza dough by itself, add the sauce, toppings and cheese and then bake it through.
Trader Joe’s has some REALLY good cheeses that you just can’t find at your regular grocer. This Unexpected Cheddar Cheese is one of their holy grail items! It is THAT good. So, you may laugh at this… but, our maids come every other week and after they clean the tub, I always take a nice relaxing bath in it. But, I also make myself up a picnic lunch with a little cheese, crackers, fruit (usually grapes and strawberries with a dollop of whipped cream on top) and some sausage cuts. Then I soak for a bit, read and enjoy my picnic lunch! It’s the only regular ME thing I do for myself, but I love it. 🙂
This is another one of their popular cheeses, it is the Caramelized Onions Cheddar Cheese. So flavorful and good. I can’t wait to have some picnics this summer and these cheeses will definitely be coming along!
I picked these frozen jumbo scallops up and I have not prepared them yet, but I can’t wait! Scallops are MY fave, y’all!
I decided to pick up these Organic Rolled Oats and they are SO easy to prepare and are really good! You just add a cup of water to a .5 cup of the oats and microwave. I added Trader Joe’s Chia Seeds, honey, banana and strawberry and broke my fast with this recently. So filling and delicious!
Another holy grail item at Trader Joe’s. I still haven’t made these, but apparently there is a correct way and a wrong way to prepare them. I can’t wait to try them!
I got these Chicken Pot Stickers with high hopes, but I really didn’t like them. I like the ones we used to get at Sam’s (we are now Costco members) better.
These macarons are SOOOOO good!!! They are in the freezer section and I thawed them out for 1 hour and they were perfect. I will be getting these again!
My kids just love these mini cones! They have them in vanilla or chocolate. So good!
This is a good Low Carb side dish. I purchased it, but I need to try it still. 🙂
I heard SO many good things about this Whole Grain Crispbread, that I decided to pick up a package. It’s Low Carb friendly and full of Fiber! I would not eat it by itself, but it is great smothered with Trader Joe’s Creamy Almond Butter, or I spread some avocado on top with diced cherry tomatoes and Penzey’s Sandwich Sprinkle. YUM!
Trader Joe’s has a taco seasoning mix that isn’t laced with all of the junk that is in the taco seasoning you buy at your regular grocer. I haven’t tried this yet, but I can’t wait!
I’ve heard Trader Joe’s has the best pickles. I’m still finishing up our other pickle jar (pickles are a great Low Carb snack!), but will get into these soon!
So, I love to go online and look up posts about what to get at Trader Joe’s and SO many people love this Moisturizing Cream Shave. It smells SO good and it truly is moisturizing! I don’t even need to put oil or lotion on my legs after I use it. The mango smell is so yummy-licious!
This Hair Mask is also HIGHLY rated. I have only used it once, because I have another bottle that I’m trying to go through first from my FabFitFun box, but it really did make my hair feel smooth and managable!
These two were highly rated as well, so I picked up a bottle of each… and once again, I need to try them still! Ha! The first one is Schloss Bierbrich Rose Champagne and the second one is Sara Bee Moscato. They’ll be perfect for the summer.
You can find the cutest inexpensive cards at Trader Joe’s. The cards in my store were by the customer service area.
And, for your viewing pleasure… here is a flashback photo of when I used to take Nathan and Autumn to Trader Joe’s with me when they were SO little. So cute! So, are you a Trader Joe’s fan? What are some of your favorite items to purchase?
