Happy Friday Everyone!
Happy Friday! Does everyone have some fun weekend plans? We are thinking about doing an ice cream day where we’ll start off bright and early at a gelato house (that also has coffee) and then we’ll try out a few other local ice cream spots. We might hit some parks in-between the ice cream to burn off the sugar (if it doesn’t rain). And, we’ll finish up the day with some gourmet pizzas! 🙂
One – Recent Amazon Faves
I have just been LOVING Amazon lately and I wanted to share some of my favorite items I’ve purchased!

THIS swimsuit!!! I’ve tried on several swimsuits from Amazon and THIS swimsuit IS SO, SO perfect!! It comes in some other colors, too… but, I really love this yellow/floral mix! This swimsuit was just made for me, it is the absolute perfect fit! I ordered it in a size small. I am really tempted to buy one in each color/pattern! Ha, ha!! Oh, Amazon I LOVE YOU! PLUS, this swimsuit is only $11.39!!! Shocker!

This Batiste Dry Shampoo in Divine Dark is pretty cool… It works as a dry shampoo and it also works wonder in hiding some of those pesky flyaway grays/roots when you’re in-between hair appointments. They even have it in blonde or brunette.

Thanks to Laura’s IG Stories, I was introduced to these BEAUTIFUL (and super inexpensive) rattan earrings. They’re lightweight and you get the full set of 4 for only $11.99!

And… a little more rattan for you, this is my first round bag and won’t this be cute with just about ANY summer dress and especially in Maui?

The last Amazon find I’m going to share with you is this raised planter. Inexpensive, easy to set up and I now have red bell peppers, basil, cherry tomato plants and zucchini right on my patio!!
Two – Nathan’s 13th Birthday Celebration at YMCA Trout Lodge
Nathan turned 13 on May 17th and over Memorial Day weekend we went to the YMCA Trout Lodge to celebrate! There is a beautiful lake there and all kinds of outdoor and lake activities. We did axe throwing, zorb balls on the lake, balloon archery, a root beer float pontoon evening cruise and lots more! Better yet, they have a cafeteria style dining for all three meals… with a cappuccino machine included! Ha! We had a lot of time to bond as a family and I filled my Move goal on my Apple watch just by walking everyday we were there that weekend!
Three – FASTer Way Challenges, Trader Joe’s Gnocchi & More!
Most of you know that I’ve been doing The FASTer Way for over a year and I’ve been in their VIP Group since January. They’ve really added SO much to this fitness program recently, including a monthly challenge in addition to your regular workout. These challenges couldn’t come at a more perfect time, while you’re trying to get your body ready for the beach! In May they had an Abs Challenge and in June they’re doing a Booty Challenge! These challenge workouts are approximately 4 minutes, so it isn’t hard to add them into your regular workout. I was so busy in May that I’m doing the abs AND booty challenge this month! Go me! Ha! You can learn more about FASTer Way HERE.
FASTer Way has two low carb days a week and I’m always looking for low carb recipes, because I’ll be honest… I HATE low carb days! I recently picked up the Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi and I wanted to try it out in a new recipe. I decided to do an easy sheet pan dinner of chicken cheese and apple sausages, Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi topped with a Ragu Sugar Free/Natural tomato sauce topped with parmesan cheese and a side of broccoli. Just be careful as this meal does have SOME carbs… but, it’s a lot less than your average meal and totally doable for low carb day! You can find this sheet pan recipe HERE.

Amanda Tress from FASTer Way just came out with her own book (and there is an audio version, which I plan to listen to!). I am really excited to dive into this an learn more about how she started her business, why, etc. I am obsessed with Amanda Tress, she is just such an inspiration and so motivating!
Four – Lemon Love
I am just LOVING everything lemons lately, especially in my kitchen. I just recently purchased this wooden lemon garland off of Jane (it is sold out now, but may be available later!). I’ll be sharing my lemon 2 tiered stand and kitchen in the next couple of weeks on the blog. 🙂

This blue/white striped lemon tote from Barrington is just gorgeous and perfect for summer!

Are you into collecting Nora Fleming dishes and minis? How about this adorable lemon mini?

I LOVE string lights, just to jazz up a space when you have guests over, for a flatlay or wouldn’t these be adorable on a 2 or 3 tier stand?

This ‘Welcome’ banner with lemons is really adorable, too! I need one for the front of my house, pronto!

And, what about these plastic lemon slices? Another wonderful 2 or 3 tier tray accessory. 🙂 So realistic looking!
Five – Sephora Play
Shop This Post:
I received my Sephora Play May box and it had a lot of great new (to me) items in it:
Bite Beauty – Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Chai: This lipstick is creamy and moisturizing (made with 12 oils!)
Lancome – CILS Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base: I’ve been wanting a mascara base and this one really does moisturize and lengthen my lashes! I would buy this again!
Coola – Mineral Sun Silk Creme SPF 30: Everyone has been talking about Coola products and I love that this is oil-free and made of minerals all while protecting my skin from UB rays and pollution.
Tarte – Deep Dive Makeup Removing Gel Cleanser Rainforest of the Sea: This gel cleanser helps to remove impurities while also reducing the look of fine line and wrinkles. Bonus!!
Moroccanoil – Protect & Prevent Spray: I love anything from Moroccanoil and this feels and smells great on the hair. It helps to protect color fading and adds just the right amount of shine while protecting your hair from environmental stressors.
Jo Malone London – Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne: This is the perfect cologne for the summer!
