I didn’t make it to Trader Joe’s once the entire time the kids were out of school for the summer… Crazy, right? I finally made a trip back a couple of weeks ago and it was so nice to browse the aisles and put some of my old favorites in the cart and some new favorites. Today I’m going to share with you what I took home and I’m hoping next month (October) I’ll be able to go back and share some Trader Joe’s Fall faves with all of you!
I picked up this bouquet of flowers for $9.99, 2 weeks ago and they’re still in almost tip top shape on my kitchen table. Unbelievable! Trader Joe’s is just hands down the best place to get affordable flowers. I just wish we had a store closer!
Trader Joe’s has some convenient lunch options. I picked up this Classic California Rolls with brown rice and avocado and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it (there is a little piece of crab in there).
This Turkey Apple Cheddar Sandwich is my ABSOLUTE favorite lunch item to pick up fresh at Trader Joe’s. So filling and yummy!
Another great lunch item, especially for a low carb day! I really enjoyed this… I usually split it in half for two separate days and pair it with a sandwich.
I did not pick this up… but, has anyone tried it? Good or weird???
Everyone raves about this Reduced Guilt Guacamole and I finally picked it up. It’s great on tortilla chips or on Trader Joe’s Crispbread (with some diced tomatoes and seasoning on top). I need to grab 2 of these next trip!
I decided to pick up these Trader Joe’s Restaurant Style Chips and they are SO good with that Guilt Free Guacamole!!!
This was one of my favorite items I took home with me from my visit. I brought home 3 bottles and next time I’ll grab a lot more! Ha!! It is watermelon with a hint of lemon. This would make an awesome poolside cocktail, too. I really hope this isn’t a seasonal/summer item and they carry it all the time, this was the first time I had seen it on the shelf.
I always pick up a package of Trader Joe’s ravioli. This time I picked up two, because I found out you can freeze them and then thaw them out when you want to prepare them. The Brussel Sprouts & Caramelized Onion Ravioli was really good with a white sauce. I froze the Butternut Squash Ravioli and need to do some research on what kind of sauce/sides would go best with it.
Oh man does Trader Joe’s have the best cheese. I love me some cheese! I recently surprised my husband with a picnic and I had three different cheeses on the charcuterie board. Yum! This Italian Truffle Cheese will not disappoint.
Gouda is my favorite cheese and I picked up this Double Cream from Holland Gouda. So creamy and soft. Yum!
I picked up this Cracker Assortment and mixed in some Ritz crackers with it for our charcuterie board, Yum!
My son just LOVES these fruit bars. I’ve been getting these for him since he was a toddler and now he’s 13! Lol!
I picked up these French Onion Soups for a quick and easy lunch. I haven’t tried them yet. Jill from Doused in Pink shared this item in her previous Trader Joe’s post and that’s what made me decide to pick it up!
I got these Milk Chocolate S’mashing S’mores up, because I always love s’mores in the Fall! They were DELICIOUS. Just GET them!
This is a new item and when I was checking out, the cashier said that this Shrimp Scampi Lasagna is SOOO good! I have it on our dinner menu this week and I can’t wait to try it!
I’ve seen this Sweet Potato Gnocchi at Trader Joe’s before, but I bought the plain variety last time. I picked this up and I need to figure out what I want to serve it with or how to turn it into a meal. Any ideas?!
I’ve heard good things about Trader Joe’s Sweet Potato Fries, so I picked up a bag. This will make a tasty side one night for dinner.
I picked up the Trader Giotto’s Tomato Basil Marinara and Bruschetta, because Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine recommended them on her last Trader Joe’s post. She uses the marinara for spaghetti or lasagna and then tops the dish with a little of the bruschetta. Yum! She says the bruschetta is good on Italian bread toast, too.
I saw this Creamy Pink Primavera Pasta Sauce and almost put it in the cart. Anyone tried this?
This Shea Butter & Coconut Oil Hair Serum smells SO good and I think I’m going to swap out my Moroccan oil treatment for this item. It’s a lot cheaper ($3.99 a bottle) and it works just the same!
