These Trader Joe’s haul posts are some of my favorites to write AND read! Trader Joe’s is a new love in my life and this was the first year I’ve been in there to check out all of their fall merchandise. Well, a few weeks ago I thought I’d stop in after my bible study, because there is a store 5 minutes away from the church where it is at (I know, SO dangerous!). Well, I couldn’t believe how much fall food items they have… I was in pumpkin PARADISE! I’ll be sharing all of my beloved fall finds (and some non-fall items) in this post today. ENJOY!
I picked up some of these mini white pumpkins for my front porch. At 69 cents each, it was a steal!
I didn’t pick these up this time, but I’ve been wanting to make a homemade sweet potato soup from THIS recipe. Sweet potatoes have so many great nutrients in them and I’d like to start eating them more often. Baking and peeling potatoes is something I don’t have time for most nights. Wouldn’t these be amazing in a stir fry as well? YUUUM!!!
I really love Trader Joe’s fresh stuffed ravioli… they always have several varieties to pick from and they have some seasonal ones mixed in. You can freeze these raviolis, too, if the expiration date gets near and you haven’t had time to prepare it yet. This time I picked up the Honey Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli AND I paired it with the Autumnal Harvest Alfredo Sauce (this is seasonal, they usually have a white alfredo sauce with mushrooms). This was REALLY, really good! My husband even liked it. I paired it with a fresh green salad for dinner and it hit the spot.
I didn’t pick this up, but Trader Joe’s has some amazing and unique selections for quick lunches. I like that there is roasted sweet potato in it, but I’m not sure if I’d like ‘cold’ sweet potato… I guess I could try warming it up. Has anyone tried this cold or warm?!! I’d love to hear what you thought of it.
I haven’t tried any of Trader Joe’s fresh soups in the past, but I couldn’t resist these two on my last trip. I haven’t tried the Pumpkin Butternut Squash Bisque yet, but the Harvest Chili was REALLY good! It is vegetarian, but is still really flavorful and it does have a little bit of a kick, but it isn’t overwhelming.
I made this Autumnal Harvest Soup with Grilled Cheese one night and it was the perfect dinner for a busy night.
Oh, do I love me some Trader Joe’s cheese. I picked up the Apricot Cherry Cranberry Goat’s Milk Cheese and ohhh, it was so flavorful. My husband loves cherries, so he really enjoyed it, too! I picked up the Dutch Gouda and Cheddar Caramelized Onion cheese blocks again, I’ve had them in the past and they’re REALLY, really good. This Olive Tapenade was new for me this time and I put it on our charcuterie board as a little something extra and I would definitely get it again… it adds some texture and is nice and savory after a bite of sweet fruit.
This Greek 0% Nonfat Yogurt in Pumpkin flavor is SO good, y’all! Yum! Just the right amount of pumpkin flavor and I love to add Trader Joe’s chia seeds to it!
This Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta sauce is really good! I got a couple of jars of it… I want to try it in a zucchini lasagna next. I did try it with their Fall Zuchette Pasta (butternut squash) and then I spooned some of the bruschetta and fresh parmesan cheese onto the cooked pasta when serving. It was a huge hit with the family!
This Organic Pumpkin in a can is SO much better than Libby’s canned pumpkin. You can definitely tell a difference in the texture and taste! I’ve used this in Jill’s pumpkin spice smoothie recipe (SO good!) and I can’t wait to try it in my pumpkin chili and cornbread recipe.
I picked up this Pumpkin Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookie Mix and I haven’t tried it yet… I’m planning to make it tomorrow. I love cookies with oatmeal in them! I’ve heard on the Trader Joe’s Facebook food board that this is DELICIOUS!
I picked up these Butter Toffee Coated Virginia Peanuts and Butter Toffee Pretzels. Both the peanuts and pretzels are coated in a sweet sugary glaze. YUM! Perfect to mix in with a fall trail mix with popcorn, candy corn, M&M’s… Mmmm!!!
I picked up the Pumpkin Butter and Cinnamon Bun Spread jars. So cute! I can’t wait to try these soon!
This Organic Pumpkin Bread is really good with the Apple Cider Jam on top… and it isn’t too bad for you, either! The pumpkin bread works nicely for a healthier alternative for a breakfast bread and it isn’t overly sweet (not like the pumpkin loaf you’d make for a dessert).
This Pumpkin Kringle was sold out the first time I went, but then I went back for a second trip and I found it! WOW… it really is so, so good!
For dinner one night I used this Pumpkin Pancake & Waffle mix to make pumpkin waffles (I added dark chocolate chips) and we drizzled the Trader Joe’s Vanilla Bean Maple Syrup over them. SO good!!
We usually get Starbucks on Saturday and instead of us all getting a sandwich or danish, I made these Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls instead. They were pretty good, BUT… I don’t know if I’d get them again.
Since I do intermediate fasting, I typically don’t have breakfast. BUT, I did pick up these Pumpkin O’s for my son. He just loves them!
I picked up these Pumpkin Frosted Toaster Pastries and my son has almost devoured the entire box. I also picked up their Hot Cocoa Frosted Toaster Pastries (sorry, no photo!) and I did try those and they were really delicious!
My son loves these bars for after school and I usually get him the strawberry ones, but he does like these seasonal pumpkin ones, too. I think he prefers the strawberry ones, though!
These pumpkin cookies are SO, so good. The Petite Pumpkin Spice Cookies (they’re iced!!) are my absolute fave!!
My kids LOVE these Mini Hold the Cone! I get the chocolate ones for my daughter and the vanilla ones for my son. I got the pumpkin ones recently and they were gone within a day! So good!
I really love Trader Joe’s regular mac and cheese, so I thought I’d give this Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese a try. On my Trader Joe’s Facebook group they’ve said it’s really good, so I’m excited to try it for lunch one day next week.
Several bloggers were raving about this Harvest Blend Herbal Tea. Oh, wow! It is good… I even went back to pick up another box of it. You can drink it in the afternoon or evening, because it is caffeine free! I really enjoy it with a teaspoon of honey and a Pumpkin Biscotti!
This Spiced Chai is REALLY good, too! I would get it again! I usually only drink black tea, but I really love Trader Joe’s seasonal teas!
This Fall Harvest Salsa is a fun change and the Fall Leaf Corn Tortilla Chips are really good with it. My daughter enjoys the Fall Leaf Corn Tortilla Chips plain, too. 🙂
My daughter LOVES these Ghosts & Bats Crispy Potato Snacks. I actually went back and got her another bag and I should have gotten two, because she ate it up quickly! It makes a great snack option or I could even see these being a great class snack to bring for a Halloween party. I personally think they’re VERY bland, but my daughter has bland taste buds! Lol! Bless her!
This Candy Corn Popcorn is another neat find that could also be wonderful in a trail mix or for a classroom party. It is popcorn with a sweet candy corn coating. The bag is small enough, too, that you could put these in your kiddos Halloween gift bags if you do that in your household.
I grabbed two of these Boo Bark’s for my kids Halloween gift bags that I make them. I picked up the Harvest Collection Belgian Chocolates and… meh… didn’t like and wouldn’t get again. I haven’t been disappointed with ANYTHING that’s been chocolatey at Trader Joe’s, but these I just didn’t love.
This Pumpkin Body Butter smells OH so good. One of my blogging friend’s told me that after she puts it on, her dog wants to lick it off her legs, because it smells so good. LOL. I wish it were just a little bit more creamier, but I would definitely buy it again!
On my first fall trip to Trader Joe’s, they didn’t have this in stock yet… but, I found it on my second trip! I haven’t tried it yet, but I can’t wait!
And, isn’t this the CUTEST face mask image ever of the pumpkin face mask? I saw this on Trader Joe’s site. LOL.
This Vanilla Pumpkin Scented Candle smells really good! I love that it is a soy candle, which is a better choice!
I didn’t pick up this Apple Cider Foaming Hand Soap, but I almost did. Has anyone tried it and what do you think?
And, just for a laugh… This was my cart on my first fall trip! Yikes!!!
