Trader Joe’s is just SO much fun from the Fall through the Holidays! Today I’m sharing some fun finds from my last trip, which will include some Thanksgiving goodies and some Christmas items as well! And, if you want to take a look at some of my previous/older Trader Joe’s posts, I have them linked up at the bottom of this post.
Cherry tomatoes and tomatoes in general are one of my fave foods! I saw these Sprinkles Tiny Mighty Tomatoes on my last trip and picked them up. Not only are they cute, they’re sweet and juicy!
Apple cider donuts aren’t a big thing in St. Louis, so if you find them somewhere you snag them up!! These were REALLY good!
I was really excited to pick up their 12 Days of Beauty on my last trip, which is a beauty advent calendar. I picked one up for Autumn, too, because she is getting into all things girly! Comment below if you snagged one of these and let me know if you’re enjoying it so far.
I picked up the chocolate advent calendars for the kids and then I picked up an advent calendar for our two cats. The cats aren’t liking the treats in them so far, though. Are my cats just picky or is anyone else having trouble with their cats eating the treats?
I saw this little packet of Chocolates from Around the world and picked it up for a stocking stuffer for Brian.
I usually pick up something for lunch while I’m in Trader Joe’s and I tried this Turkey Gobbler Wrap last time. I would give it 5/5 stars! SO good! I don’t know if it is still available, but if it is… TRY it! My favorite salad to pair with their sandwiches/wraps is the Tomato Mozzarella one. SO good!
I always pick up 1-2 of Trader Joe’s stuffed raviolis when in the store and I tried this one last time. It was really good and flavorful, even though it was vegetarian! I usually pick up one of their white sauces (it is in a tub near the raviolis) to pair with it. You can freeze these raviolis if you don’t think you’ll be able to serve it by the expiration date.
Trader Joe’s always has seasonal yogurts and if you love egg nog, you’ll love these rich and creamy yogurts! (These are not low in fat, though!!)
I was really excited to try this low fat egg nog and it did not disappoint! It isn’t as thick as regular egg nog, but it is JUST as good!! I would buy it again.
I did not purchase this (there was just TOO many items I wanted, I couldn’t take them all home!), but it looked really good… especially if you’re into nut milks.
I know Thanksgiving is past us, BUT I had to share this delicious and easy weekday meal I made for my family before Turkey Day. I purchased the Turkey Cranberry Meatballs and then drizzled the Kettle Cooked Turkey Gravy over them. I whipped up some of the boxed Trader Joe’s Stuffing Mix (not shown) and then for dessert we had the Nantucket Cranberry Pie. SOOO good, y’all! So good!
There is a Trader Joe’s Facebook Group I follow and they highly recommended these two cheeses. The Triple Cream Brie (there is a plain variety, but I picked up the Wild Mushrooms one) and the Fondue. The Brie was DELICIOUS and I have yet to prepare a fondue appetizer yet for the family. The fondue one keeps for quite awhile in the fridge, but I’m hoping to prepare it for New Year’s Eve with a bunch of fun dippers.
I saw this Rainbow of Honey assortment and I thought it’d make a sweet gift for the holidays.
I’ve been really enjoying Trader Joe’s seasonal tea selection. Out of these two, the Winter Wake Up Tea is my fave… but, the Candy Cane Green Tea is good, too and is decaffeinated.
If you’re looking for something to enjoy with your tea, I recommend the Mini Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti OR the Marzipanstollen! Both are DELICIOUS!!!
This Sipping Chocolate is SO good! The sipping chocolate is thick, so you’ll want to enjoy it with a spoon! You can also prepare it as hot cocoa instead of as sipping chocolate, which I haven’t tried preparing it that way yet. This would make a perfect gift for a friend or you could add it into a gift basket!
The Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe Joe’s are SO good. My husband loves them! The Peppermint Bark Popcorn is good, but I think it’d be better in a trail mix with some popcorn, pretzels, white chocolate chips to give it a hint of peppermint flavor.
Here are some other sweet goodies I saw, but I didn’t dare buy them!!! Too many sweets around the house this time of years gives us all too much temptation! LOL!!
I saw these Cut Your Own Waxed Cotton Food Wraps and Waxed Cotton Food Bags, which I think they’re new… I don’t remember seeing them before. I’m curious if anyone has tried these??? Let me know in the comments. I wasn’t sure if I should get them or not, or how well they worked.
