Grazing on food during the Big Game is my jam, and I love to create a visually appealing AND appetizing grazing board for my family and guests. I’m sharing my secrets on how I plan out the perfect game day spread with the help of Farm Rich. The end result will be a functional and visually appealing spread full of the perfect snacks that your family and guests will enjoy.
First, you’ll want to find the perfect spot in your home where your guests can mingle and graze. We had our kitchen redone a couple of summers ago and we set up a serving area, which is in-between our kitchen and family room (where our big screen TV is located). This is the perfect spot in our home because it provides an open space, and the guests can grab a snack, mingle by the food, and still keep an eye on the game at all times.
Next, you’ll want to prepare a shopping list. Walmart is my go-to for any gathering because they have everything I need and I can quickly shop in the store or do their grocery pick up service. Last, you’ll want to incorporate some Big Game decor to make the grazing board to get them in the game day spirit! I have picked up reusable tablecloths, frames, etc. that I can reuse for each occasion. I set out the food on several different plates with various heights to make it easy for guests to ‘reach over’ if there is a crowd near the serving area, and it helps make the entire space look a little more visually appealing.
